Can we ovulate with HCG still in the system??

I was wondering if we can ovulate while the HCG from previous pregnancy has not yet reached zero?
do we ovulate 2 weeks after the HCG reached to zero, or simply 2 weeks after miscarriage regardless of the level of HCG?

From what I've been told, you won't ovulate until your levels go back to zero.  Depending on your cycle you will ovulate anywhere from 11-14 days after the first day of your period.  OPK's are great for helping with that.  I used them (I'm 20 weeks almost) and good luck with them.

My doctor told me that we are more fertile right after a miscarriage, regardless of HCG levels. She told me to start trying two months after.

i understand that you can because i got pregnant when i miscarried and my numbers weren't at 0

i heard that you are more fertile after miscarriag.the same as after having a child.i miscarried in december but my levels dropped really quick.my midwife said was ok to try again one month after if was emotionly ready.to be honest i ant really waited quite a month but i do feel ready myself.am hoping its correct myself that you are more fertile.will let every one know if anything dos happen.
