Can you Ovulate and have a period with HCG still in your system?

I just had a d&c at over 11 weeks with an hcg of over 140,000.  Took a home pregnancy test at 2 weeks with a still positive second line.  Took another a few days before 4 weeks and still showed a second line but fainter than the one a couple weeks before.  My question though is if you think I could have still ovulated with the hcg still in my body??  I have been taking my basil body temp from the first day of my d&c and it seems to show that I ovulated on CD19.  In addition I have a OvaCue Fertility Monitor which also said I Ovulated at about CD18.  This measured the electrodes in your saliva to find your fertile period.  I also have the vaginal sensor which supossidly will not say "ovulation confirmed" unless you actually did ovulate becase it measures electrodes or something in the vagina that change after ovulation.  So, this says I definitely ovulated.  Plus I had my normal ovulation pains at this time that last for several days.  So, all three things seem to say I did ovulate but I had hcg system.  Now at CD28 I am starting to get period like cramps.  I have had no cramping at all from the d&c.  And now when my period would be due in a few days I am getting this light cramping and feeling like I normally would when my period would start.  Is it possible to ovulate and then also have a period with some hcg in your body??  I am going to be having my blood levels drawn next week to see the actual amounts.  I am just really wondering the answer to this question.  Thank you.
