Can you get pregnant two weeks after a D and C?

I had a D and C on Nov 30th. The doctor said that we couldn't have sex until two weeks later well we didn't wait and had sex on day 12.  The night before my follow up appointment (day 13) I took a test  to see if my hormone levels were down, it read pregnant. Today (day 17) I took another test and again it read pregnant. Are these results due to my hormones or could I be pregnant? Thanks.

you had sex and the next day you took a test and it was positive??? I dont think that would be from the sex you had the day before. Maybe your hormones are still dropping from your last pregnancy. Sorry im not much help. I would talk with your doctor. Good luck!

Thanks for responding. Sorry we had sex on fri and I took a test on sun. If it's the levels dropping then ok. I just want confirmation, that's all. Thanks again.

yah, still from fri to monday the egg wouldnt even had implanted yet, or maybe just did but way to early to see a BFP on a test. Good luck hun, I hope you get the results you want:~)

Hey Blueeyedtabbycat.  I ended up getting a beta HCG test last week because my boobs were really sensitive. Based on the levels my doctor said that I'm pregnant ( very early) or it maybe the hormone lingering. She couldn't really pinpoint conception so she scheduld another beta HCG. I'll know the results tomorrow so we'll see.
