Can you ovulate without EWCM?

Sometimes I notice EWCM and in the last two months I have been looking for it and haven't noticed any. Wondering if you can ovulate without the presence of EWCM?  Also wondering if insurance typically pays for tests that show if your hormone levels are normal - meaning - am I producing enough Luteinizing hormone and the other necessary hormones to result in a) an egg and b) fertilization and successful implantation. I have two children already - but never experienced a TTC period - they just happened. Now that we have made a conscious effort to TTC, it seems everything is not happening bang, bang like before. I have a Dr. appt. scheduled for an annual PAP at the end of the month but thought I'd poll you guys first. Thanks so much!

You can have CM without knowing it.  A friend of mine had a ton of it, but never saw it.  It was just where it needed to be, right by the cervix.  She was going through fertility treatments which is how she found this out.  This could be what is going on with you.

It's easy to find out what your insurance covers.  Either call and ask or look it up in your insurance book, or online.  A lot of insurance will cover tests to diagnose, but not treatment.
