Just wondering how little Eva is doing....I have been struggling with the first two weeks of newborn care and haven't been on.  I saw on my announcement post you said Eva was sick.  I went and searched for your previous posts to see what has been going on, and I'm so so sorry.  It is so heartbreaking when they are in pain.

My little girl has those problems, mostly because we have been potty training for a year...LOL, but she screams at the top of her lungs when she pees sometimes....it's so so sad.  But for you and Eva being so little, it must be extra hard.....

Please let me know what is going on....and if I can help in anyway.  I'm back in PA for awhile....

Hi - How are you?  How is the little guy and his big sister?

Eva had a rough couple of weeks but today is the first day that I actually felt ok leaving her to come to work.  Her new meds are clearing her infection and her UTI seems to be cleared as well.  No more fevers since Saturday night when I went to CHOP.  She has tests scheduled for November 9th at St. Christophers but the doctor at CHOP told me he thinks she is going to be fine that it was just a fluke although it is uncommon in babies her age and very common in potty training age.  I am prone to infections - I had them since I was little so poor thing may end up just like me.  I blamed mine on Catholic School and how they only let you go to the bathroom during recess.  Too bad if you had to go at any other time.  :(  But I guess that is not it - it is just genetic?  

Anyway, I think and feel she is getting better.  We did CPR training yesterday after our scare we realized we were not prepared.  She never stopped breathing but if she did we would have been helpless.

I'm glad she's doing better and taking that CPR class is a good idea.  I wanted to take it before she was born but, I probably would have forgotten everything.  I hope your doing well too.  Kisses for you guys.

How are things with your little boy?  Your not a first time mommy like I was so I'm sure your handling it better than I did.

CantWait4Baby - I'm so glad she is doing better....she is so beautiful!  I think that was the first time I saw her.  I'd like to get trained in CPR, I used to be certified years ago when I ran a daycare but need a refresher course and re-certification here in PA.

CHOP is excellent.  One great thing about this area....they have great medical teams for our children.

I'm doing wonderful....My DD loves, loves, loves her baby brother and he is a wonderful baby.  Very calm and relaxed.  Sleeps a lot!!!  Much much more than my DD.  Now I know why I always worried when there was no movement for long stretches...he just sleeps for 5 hrs straight sometimes....I was waking him the first week to feed every 2-3 hrs but not anymore.
He seems to be doing fine.

I'm not a first time mommy but the first few days with a little boy were hard on me.  I had him circumcised and was devastated at what it looked like.  Cried everytime I changed him for the first week....now it's back to normal but boy, I felt like my poor baby was in so much pain.

I just read about the circumcision experience in Jenny McCarthy's book Baby Laughs - I loved her Belly Laughs and this one is funny too.  When I was reading it I was almost crying for her baby.  I hear that is not fun.  One thing is for sure - they will THANK YOU that you got it done as babies. haha

I have followed you posts for over a year now and just wanted to say congrats on the new baby.  I know you had three m/c in a row and were so so sad.  I had my little man in June.  Has he gotten pee on you yet?  My little guy loves to pee when I change him :-)

i'm so happy, i love my new son.  my little family is doing great!  some moments I just cry because i can't believe i came full circle.

no pee on me....but he loves to pee on dad....lol
