Cerclage Removal

I had a cerclage done at 21 weeks.  I am now 28 weeks (yay!!!) and wondering about the procedure of having it removed.  I believe mine will be removed once I reach 37 weeks.  For anyone that has had a cerclage, was it removed in the OB's office or in the hospital and how soon did you go into labor if at all?  Thanks, ladies!

I had a cerclauge in. It was put in at 14 weeks and the dr is removing mine when I have my c-section. I am sorry I don't know when or how they remove it if you are delivering vaginally.

My SIL had her cerclage removed at the dr. office and she didn't go into labor for 2 more weeks.

This is my 3rd cerclage and 3rd child.  I had it removed yesturday at 37 weeks. All 3 times were done in the docs office. It's not a big deal at all. You walk out.
My 1st child I went into labor one week after. My second I had to be induced. The issue is scar tissue builds from each cerclage so it can take time to go into labor. Nothing yet with my 3rd.
