Cervical Mucous and cervix position? sorry if TMI

Hi there,

Can someone help tell me the difference between cervical mucous when ovulating, and cervical muscous when pregnant?

My cervix always feels open, even in my last pregnancy (I currently may or may not be pregnant again, or I might be ovulating). How do I tell the difference between ovulation and pregnancy in general?

the cervix will always have a small opening after you have kids.  it isnt a good indicator of fertility.

the time line between o and af are far enough that hopefully you should know where you are in your cycle.  

cm right before o become thick and stretchy like egg whites.  just days after you will ovulate and then it will change.  in early pg your cm might be just as it were if you were not.  its not a good indicator.  i will pm you a good website with info on all of this.

I had a D&C February 4th, so I have no idea where I am in my cycle.

I feel like I already ovulated, but my cervix feels slightly open. It did with my last pregnancy though too. Also, i've never given birth. Had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks last time.
I'm just too scared to take a test incase I get a false positive and get my hopes up only to find out its just hormones from the pregnancy before
