Cervical Mucus with pregnancy??

Ok, ive been reading up on the cervical mucus, and it states that I may be able to determine WHEN I want to get pregnant, i can judge by the mucus texture, but what if I MAY already be pregnant? Is there a certain consistancy that still leaks? I checked mine yesterday, and it was the thick, stretchy kind, which would signal the end of my ovulation cycle. Would that be a slight indicator that I am not pregnant? I had unprotected sex about a week ago, and am not sure of the mucus texture at that time...any sort of help on this?

cervical mucus becomes thin and slippery when you ovulate. it has an egg white consistancy. then it goes back to normal once ovulation is done. there is no way to tell from cervical mucus if you are preggo. you will have to wait and take a test around the time your next period is due. usually you can test 14 days after ovulation with a home test or the first day after a missed period. good luck and keep me posted.

After a period your cm is usually-

dry at first
then sticky
then turns creamy
then wet as ovulation is near
egg white right around ovulation
and then sticky or dry again

all 3 times I have been pregnant it turned real creamy after I ovulated when usually it would be sticky or dry.

I recently asked a similar question on here. I had a lot of weird cervical mucus last thurs and I think I may have been ovulating then (everything is screwed up from stopping pill mid-cycle). However, I still have a lot of CM that is stretchy like around ovulation time. I took a pregnancy test Sunday and it was negative, so I don't know what's going on. I have some sort of terrible flu now though (nasal congestion, back pain, fever, and headache). This may be a dumb question, but would the flu have changed my urine enough to throw off the pg test? I have no idea when to expect my period so I don't know if I'm really late or not. Good news though! If I'm not pregnant now, my husband and I have decided to start trying!

am having some thin white mucus now. i was suppose to ovulate on the 23rd, i saw the mucus on the 24th and today(not sure about the 25th). I guess it means am ovulating then? It pretty flowy, it dries up thick once it reaches my undies. we did the limbo on the 25th, it flowed heavily then too, hoping its good timing, though i dont think he managed to get much sperm in. Let me know your thoughts guys.
