Cervical Pregnancy and Methotrexate

by klg1, Mar 02, 2005 12:00AM
Last Friday I was given Methotrexate to terminate a 6 week pregnancy that had implanted in my cervix. I have not taken any fertility drugs, as I understand a cervical pregnancy is more common in that case.  This is my second miscarriage, though the previous miscarriage was under different circumstances. I have experienced some brown spotting and cramping, however I have not lost a significant amount of blood or tissue.  I am concerned that the Methotrexate didn't worked and am wondering how much blood I should expect and how long this process takes.  I feel miserable!!  Additionally, I just received information about an abnormal pap with pre-cancerous cells. . . could this be related to my cervical pregnancy? Thank you for your time!!

I don't know about the procedure you had done, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss.
