Chances of Getting Pregnant While On the Pill

by SES2290, Oct 13, 2009 12:02PM
I've been on the Pill for well over a year now, and have recently switched from Yaz to Seasonique. This past weekend, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex, and I'm worried that I've become pregnant. I missed one pill in the new pack back in early September, and took it immediately when I remembered. I decided to go ahead and take the placebo pills at the end of my pack to cause my period to come on. Is it still possible that I may become pregnant? And if I don't get my period, should I go ahead and take a pregnancy test, or continue with the rest of my pills?

I would continue to take the pill you can test at any time after your expected period and the pills will not affect the test. Missing one pill is usually not an issue.
