Change in HCG doubling time as numbers rise????

by Amy8184, Feb 26, 2005 12:00AM
Tuesday my hcg numbers were 4469 and then on Thursday my numbers were 6994, they are not quite doubling.  I was wondering if anyone else have heard of hcg doubling time changing in hours the higher it gets.  I ask this because i was reading online saying, that from up to 1200 it takes 24 to 48 hours, then from 1200 to 6000 it takes 72 +/- a couple of hours, then anything 6000 or over takes up to 96 hours.  Any information would be great/stories!  Everyone is just wonderful and so helpful on this site.. I am so happy that i found it!  Love and prayers to everyone!

What you read is absolutely correct. My numbers were tripling in the beginning then slowed down to doubling in 4 days the higher I got. Your numbers sound good. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

Go to this site.  It has some encouraging stories to get you along with this.  I wish you well.  Things sound like they are perking along.  Hang in there.  I know it is tough waiting as the pregnancy progresses.  Take care!
