Children's intuition?

Children's intuition?

HI everyone, I enjoy sitting and reading what all you ladies are posting and put my two sence in every once and awhile. Well my dh and I have been ttc since April, since we lost our last one. Well I was getting my dh ready for work and my oldest ds informed me that I was going to have a girl and a boy. So I asked him why and he said because he and his brother each have a bed and that he needed a baby sister and brother. I don't put much credit into these things, but about a week before I found out I was pg last time, he started asking for a baby sister. Just out of the blue. Of course a week and a half later, I found out I was pg. So I guess you never know. I know that some people say that children have intuitions we don't. I really hope he is right, not necessarily about a boy and girl, but I would love to have a + hpt for Christmas. I would love to hear if anyone else has had any experince with this.

Yes I have but in a different way. I lost my mom on dec 22 in 1989. My dd was born dec 10th in 1997 when she was 2 years old she started talking about her grandma who lived on a farm etc... growing up we lived right next door to a farm. do I think my daughter saw my mom.. yes I do. I think children have a 6th sense that leaves them when they learn more about the ways of the world.lets hope your son is right on the money. good luck and merry christmas to you and your family.

I definitely believe that little children under the age of 4 or so have a tie to heaven and can sense and feel and know things that we do not.
When I was pregnant with my 3rd child, I did not find out what the sex of the baby was.(I never did) My 2 year old DD would say her prayers and thank Heavenly Father "for my baby brother"
I would tell her, "Honey, it might be a baby sister..."
She would look at me like I was nuts, and say, "No Mommy--it's a boy!!" And when it was born--it was a boy.

Years later, with another pregnancy, another daughter who was also two at this time would say, "Mommy, I want the baby boy to come out RIGHT NOW!!"
Again I would say, "It might be a baby girl" And she would say, "NO..It's a BOY, Mommy!" LIke I was weird for even suggesting it was a girl. And again, it was a boy!

I really do believe this.Little children have a closeness to heaven for a few years after their birth. It's a really special thing.

My brother-in-law, who passed in 2003, loved kids, and he came to me in a dream (in 2005) and told me i was pregnant, so the next day I took a test and I was.  We had not even been trying, and with no previous kids, didn't know if it would ever happen, but at that time, we were still in just being the two of us mode.  Anyways i lost the baby, but it was neat that he came to let me know or else I would have never tested.  I MC two days after testing and getting the blood work back to confirm it.

My niece was born a week before my mother passed so they only had a week to spend together before my mom passed.  Before my mother passed she gave me a necklace that she asked that I keep and pass on in the family.  When my neice was two and a half, almost three, she saw my necklace and stared constantly at it.  I picked her up and she grabbed the necklace in her hand and I asked her to be careful with it.  She looked me right in my eyes and with the most SERIOUS voice said to me, "Grandma wanted me to have that necklace."  I never once mentioned to her that her grandmother gave it to me.  I got chills down my spine so hard that I almost dropped her!!  I was in such a state of shock I didn't know what to say to her.  I will never forget that day!
