Clomid and Multiples

by Hope2BAMommy, Mar 18, 2004 12:00AM
I'm wondering how long clomid stays in your system and can affect chances of multiples. I was on 50 mg of clomid back in September, October, and November and then conceived around February 27th. Does anyone know if that might influence conception and chance of multiples three months later?

I am currently on clomid,  I was told that the clomid stays in your system for weeks not months.  besides it only increases your chances of twins by about 4%.  congrats on the BFP,  is it twins?

I don't have any idea what I'm having or how many, just was curious if clomid had anything to do with this pregnancy. Twins do run in my DHs family, so who knows?! Am I having any MS??? What is MS? Wait, is it mood swings? Just asked DH and he half laughed and half cried!! Guess I've been kindof moody and last nite I burst (no, make that exploded according to DH) into tears for long time.

MS is for morning sickness, have you had any? You DH is to cute, first the roses and then half laughing when you asked him about the moodiness. Well it's well worth it cause in the end you'll have your little bundle of joy, I hope that i conceive soon can't wait. DH and I are going to Calgary in July to watch the Calgary Stampede, Mabey we might conceive then who know's. It seems like going away seems to be doing the trick for getting preggo, keep us posted on your condition.

Oh, morning sickness! I've been real nauseous, but haven't thrown up yet. I was 5 weeks yesterday - do you know when barfin might start?

My prayer is you conceive before July, but your trip sounds exciting. Sometimes a get away is just what the doctor ordered.

I am over 9 weeks and I get nauseous when my DH is cooking. I have only thrown up 2 times, from brushing my teeth (wierd, huh?), but tired and nauseous everyday. They say the MS is a good sign! Congrats to you!!!!
