Clomid and OPKs

I keep hearing that Clomid can mess with temps and OPKs. I'm wondering how? I mean could taking Clomid 5-9 and testing starting at 12 show a false negative? I didn't start temping until day 14 (just started temping with this cycle) and the temps have all be rising since then. I'm wondering if it is possible to have ovulated on CD14 and have all negative OPKs? I'm sorry to have posteda similar question a few days ago but I only got one responce. Please, I could really use an answer here. Here are my temps also.

CD14 97.1
CD15 97.4
CD16 97.6
CD17 97.6
CD18 97.5
CD19 97.7
CD20 97.6
CD21 98
CD22 97.6

THANKS FOR ANY THOUGHTS AND IDFEAS!!

It's really hard to say what is going on with your cycle. You really need to chart a couple of months to get a clear picture of what is going on. Did you chart bbt before cd 14 at all? What you want to have is a biphasic chart. This is a shift in temp that is very evident after 'o'. You only listed temp from cd 14 on. No way to tell anything about 'o' with just those days. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I really wish I would have started temping before the 14th but unfortunatly I didn't. I was thinking about temping with the next cycle and DH talked me into starting this month to get a little 'practice'. We didn't even start talking about temping until CD14 so thats when I started. As much as I hate to say it ... it looks like I'm in a waiting game. Not just the 2WW but waiting to see whats going on too. Thanks for your reply though!!

If anyone else has any comments or thoughts ... let me know!!!

Hi! Yeah, I temp at just about the same time everyday. Give or take 20 to 30 mins. I'm not taking any meds and I have been covering up the same way all through the temping. Thanks for the Fertility Friend info ... I will certainly check it out. I'll keep you updated though. Especially if I turn up pregnant this cycle ... THE WORLD WILL KNOW!! :)

Thanks again for your help and info.

Well, he is right you are getting in good practice. Do you check temp at same time every morning? This is how you get your most accurate readings.  BBT rises .1 every half hour on average. Meds and things such as too much cover at night can wreak havvoc on bbt. I tell you the truth though I can't even imagine not charting now. I keep my thermometer right on my bedside table where all I have to do is reach for it. I'll probably be charting in the nursing home. TeeHee  It tells you so much about your body. You can get some good info off of Fertility Friend. They even have free charts taht you can print off. Let me know how it goes.
