I am on clomid days 5-9 of my cycle. I have been experiencing some soreness on my left side where my ovary would be. Is this normalNormal saline flush? What other side effects are considered normalNormal saline flush or that you have experienced? I have looked it up in the archives but could not find anything on the soreness. Any help would be appreciated!
Well, Clomid stimulates your ovaries so that could be what you're feeling. Some people say to take the pills at night to help alleviate some of the side effects (like hot flashes, blurredVision problems vision, etc.). You may not have those side effects, not everyone does.
A few days BEFORE I would O I would start feeling some pain and achiness in my ovary, then the pain would get worse so i knew when I was Oing. It depends on how long your cycles are too. How long are yours?? Mine were 31 days. I was Oing around CD18. the dr. thinks CD16 - 17.
I am trying for baby # 2 so I have been on clomid before. This is my first month of it this time. I too have had pains when ov. I have had hot flashes, breast tenderness and headaches, and mood swings. Some times I felt like an emotional roller coaster, hopefully this is the month. Good luck to you too.
Yea I took is on CD3-7. It can take as little as 5 days to O. I would say after the first cycle then you will be able to tell if the pan you are experiencing is around the time you will O. By my 2nd cycle I realized that was what was happening!! Good luck to you. It took me 3 cycles of it to get preggo!!
the only side affects i recall from clomid last year - which i tried for two ccycles before ivf, was heightened emotional feelings, about day 3 i got a little paranoid, and quite emotionally hysterical. my husband looked it up on the net for me and sure enough - day 3 some women can have this extreme emotional response, but good news after i finished them on day 5 -back to normal again.
Good luck!
