I have read that it can cause ovarian problems which is why most doctors will not keep you on it that long. You should also closely be monitored when using clomid. I just started my first round.
Thanks for that postive news!!!! I always love to hear a success story. I am on Clomid and will be having and IUI in about a week. Can't stand the wait and I'm not even in the 2ww yet!
Hi! I have been gone for a while but now I am back on the clomid train! We decided (last month) to wait until summer but about 3 weeks went by and I just said the hell with it let's go ahead. I just didn't want to be pregnant all summer but right now having another baby is WAY more important.
I am 26 and my son is 1 this month. We have been ttc for 7 months. Today is day 11 in my cycle and I took 150mg of clomid days 3-7. I borrowed a friends fertility monitor and it has showed me at Peak fertility for the last 2 days??? But I think it is just srewed up from her using it. The monitor stores your information so it is basically comparing my sample to hers and showing me at Peak? I think the clomid has just escalated my hormone levels? I am frustrated because I haven't ovulated on clomid (50mg) even though I did get positive OPK? So I want to be excited that my OPK and monitor showed my surge yesterday... but that doesn't mean that I'll ovulate. I can only use clomid for 2 more cycles and then it is off to a fertilty specialist... ugh. So I guess I'll be crossing my fingers!!!!!!!! I am going to test OPK in an hour so we'll see. Hubby and I have been BD so If i do ovulate, hopefully I'll catch it :) I'll feel better too if the ovulation kits show a drop. I am gonna be pissed if they show PEAK for the whole month!! then I'll KNOW it's just the clomid screwing it up!!! Momttc
Where have you been? I am going on clomid in april. Hubby leaves for school march 15 to april 15...I am on day 36 and no af but neg preg tests since day 31 (day 31 was the last time I tested) I am not cramping or anything, But on day 21 the progesterone (sp?) read .7 so he isnt sure I ovulated?
anyways, I am right there with you!
