Clomid

Hi everyone! How are u all doing? After ttc for 18 months  the doctor put me on Clomid 50mg days 3-7. This is the fist thing I have tried so i'm very hopeful! I heard that I should order preseed while on clomid. I was wondering if you girls used preseed while on clomid... and to know how many of you have had success w/ Clomid! And some of the side effects! Sorry i'm a little nervous! I am praying this will work for us!!! thank you for any responses!

I have been on Clomid for 2 cycles.  I get crabby, break out and have gained weight.  During ovulation, my ovaries hurt - A LOT!  Also, I have used Preseed and I LOVE it.  You should try it since Clomid does dry you out!

Thanx ladies! not looking forward to some of the side effects but if it works it's WELL worth it!!! I also heard it will throw off OPKs is that true?

The only side effect that I had was VERY PAINFUL ovulation. I had to take midol or tylenol menstrual and relax on the couch the whole day!!

Hi. I wasn't ovulating before I went on clomid 50mg days 2-6. I was dry anyway but I found I now get EWCM on clomid and this is a first for me ever so you might not need the preseed. As for side effects go my first cycle I had a migraine the whole 5 days I was taking it but that cleared up when I finished but no migraine the second cycle so go figure. I also had very sore boobs after o. Thats about all for side effects. I can also tell you it has worked as far as getting me to ovulate but so far second cycle and no luck actually getting preggers.
Good luck to you, you might be one of the lucky ones who get preggers on the first go.

I too was NOT ovulating. My OB put me on clomid 50mg daily from cd 2-6. It took 3 cycles but I finally got my BFP and am now 28 weeks 3 days. I did NOT use preseed, I think (I can't quite remember) we used KY once. We bd 3 days before and the day of ovulation.

Hello, I M/c 08-0506 . The next cycle my Dr. put me on clomid 50mg CD5-9, I had hot flashs, moody, cramps. Dr. told us to monitor ovulation and also BBT. i used FF and we BD every other day and a couple days everyday.  WEll I got postive OPKD on CD14-16 and FF said I o'd on CD18. WEll BFP on CD27 which was only 10DPO.

This is going to be my second cycle of clomid, 50 mg, days 3-7 too.  I ordered preseed this time because lst time I was really dry.  Hopefully it works.  I alos heard that taking robitussin thins out your mucus.   Good luck

I am so glad to hear that clomid really works. Everyone talks of the aweful side effect and how it didn't work for them.
