Clueless

I am not on birthcontrol, my boyfriend and I use the withdrawal method, this month my period is six days late, I have had mild cramping for a few days but no bleeding. I took a test at four days late and it wa negative, could it have been too early? I check my cervix often and it does not feel the same as it usually does when It is time for my period.

Yes, it could be too soon.  It is best to wait until you are at least 2 weeks late and when you test you should use first morning's urine.  If it's still coming up negative than call your doctor and schedule a blood test.  The withdrawal method is not a reliable form of birth control.  If you are trying not to get pregnant, than I suggest using condoms or getting on birth control pills or look into something that you are comfortable with.

To back up what mami said, withdrawal is a justification that guys use so they won't have to wear a condom, it is not a method of birth control.  It protects you from nothing.  I would take an early-results test, and would put a kibosh on the sex without protection.  Good luck, hon.
