Conception after laparoscopy and tube removed.

Conception after laparoscopy and tube removed.

I had a laparoscopy for an ectopic pregnancy removal 2 weeks ago. The surgeon had to remove my left tube because it was the 2nd ectopic pregnancy in a row in that tube. My husband and I had been trying for 19 months to conceive when we had our first ectopic, which was terminated with Methotrexate. Now it it has been 2 years of hoping and wanting, with only negative results.
I am wondering how long we have to wait to try to conceive again, and if anyone out there in my shoes has had a successful pregnancy after a tube was removed? I could definately use some hope at this point.
Thanks!
