Confused - Is it possible to feel more nauseous even though I think I have had/having a mc?

I had a mc 4 mths ago and this month had a BFP but started having brown spotting since last sunday (sorry TMI) with some small clots, I am nearly 6 wks and the doc has booked me for a scan on tuesday. There was not enough discharge to need a pad - it was only when I wiped & has gradually got less during the week.

However I have been feeling more and more nauseous since sunday...? I am very confused as brown spotting seems to be 50% normal and 50% likley mc....? Also the increasing sick feeling - some web sites say is normal pregnancy and others say once you have mc'd your body still can keep the symtoms (symptoms) ie . feeling sick for the next few weeks????

Can anyone shed any light on this as I am trying to deal with having potentially had or having a mc but at the same time getting my hopes up because I feel sick.
Thank you x

yes, even if you miscarrying you can still have preg symptoms until the hormone levels drop. However, I don't know if what you are experiencing is another miscarriage.  The sick feeling could also be associated with stress and your worry.

Try drinking some ginger tea to help with your nausea.  Also try taking a B-50 vitamin.  That seemed to help me with the nausea.

Hope for the best at this time.

A vitamin B supplement is perfectly safe for pregnancy, with or without the miscarriage.  B vitamins are proven to aid in energy and also in nausea.  I would never recommend something to someone without firsthand knowledge which also came with the blessing of my OB and my oncologist.

And yes, you can take chemo while pregnant too.  My little Lauren went through chemo with me and was born early so I could complete the second half which is not safe during pregnancy.

Been there, know what I'm talking about.  Also suffered a miscarriage that I didn't know about until the D&C and still felt pregnant for a couple of weeks later.
