Constant brown spotting...

by Endoxos, Oct 11, 2004 12:00AM
I have been having a brownish-tinted discharge, laced with brownish-with-hints-of-reddish streaks, and occasional clumps of brown goo (looks remotely like the leftover solid blood from having cooked meat) inbetween periods, and during them, I have much larger clumps of brown goo (well, not quite so brown... but reddish-brown, and more gooey instead of solid, like having-just-gotten-punched-in-the-nose type mucus-and-clump-laden blood). Normal feminine cleaning doesn't help beyond what's currently there, but it eventually shows up again by the next morning. I am not pregnant (my only pregnancy was over 8 years ago). I am 26.

Please help me. What is this, is it normal, and if not, what can I do to correct it? Thanks.

Erm... forgive the title. I had always thought spotting was between periods (as opposed to during pregnancy). Anyways, question still stands, though. ^_^;

I had this when I was early pregnant with twins and one twin was not viable. It actually was absorbed and the other baby was born just fine. Have you been checked for HCG levels just in case? HPT don't always showanything under 100 and your considered pregnant at anything above 5.
