Could I be?

I just had a baby in Dec... her placenta was stuck to my uterus .So it took the doctor about 45 min to get evrything out.. He then explain to me I would have a bad first period. So I bled about 4 in half weeks then I almost completely stoped. Then a few days later I started to bleed really bad .. I thought Id got my period well my doc says it was probaly a 6 week bleed.. Well I have been trying again to get pregnant .. So three weeks later on Saturday I started spotting a little brown and pink ..Hardly any thing for the last four days so today I get a few red blood spots..Still not enough to where a pad.. I am i pregnant or is this a light period? oh to more things I am surrogate so that was not my child in Dec.. Two I am breast pumping every two hrs..

You mean you had a baby in Dec. of 2007? It sounds like your body has gone through a lot and this is just my PERSONAL opinion, but you should let your body get back to some sort of regularity first. Have you spoken with your doctor about trying to conceive?

Okay, I missed the word "surrogate" on my first read-through of your question. Even though you gave birth but are not taking care of that baby, you should give your body time to recuperate. Just my 2 cents, I'm sure others may disagree. As to answer your question, your cycles are probably just messed up, but any time you have unprotected sex, you run the chance of becoming pregnant. A pregnancy test will be accurate about 2 weeks from the time you ovulated.

I am puming because I am giving to a couple that needs it..I dont know when I ovulated I dont even know if this is a period..

Yeah, it's hard to know so close to having a baby and the pumping is probably preventing you from getting a period. Well if you know the last time you had sex, all pregnancy test directions state, "Take a test 19 days from the last time you had sex for a more accurate result." It's a waiting game no matter what. I hope you get your wish! I'd love to hear more about being a surrogate, your feelings, why you want to become pregnant, etc. if you don't mind sharing! I've thought about surrogacy before, but my hubby is freaked out by that and won't consent.
