Could I really be pregnate already?

I had a baby almost 5 months ago. It took me several years to concieve (conceive) him. I am 29 and he is my first. And they told me I would never be able to get pregnate on my own, and well I did. But I just got a short period, and it is the first one I have had since my son was born, and I am breast feeding. Could I be pregnate again? I have been exeriance unusual bouts of nasea off and on. But I dont know what to think? Any advice would be helpfull.....thanks

There is a chance you could be pregnant. Women are actually a bit more fertile directly after having a child. But since you're breast feeding it seems more likely that your period is just being delayed. A lot of new mothers find that they don't regain their periods until they stop breast feeding and even women that aren't breast feeding go as long as 4 months without their first menstrual cycle.
