While Nadezdha doesn't have this yet (knock on wood). I've also never had a child that had so much hair (her sisters were nearly bald). Anyhow, is there anyway to prevent Cradle Cap? After every bath and put a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys baby lotion through her hair, to help keep it from getting unruly, and so far we haven't gotten the CC yet... but I am hoping to avoid it totally. Is there something that causes it, or anything else that us new(er) parents need to know?
Scrubbing the scalp with a soft bristled brush during the shampooing (with baby shampoo) will help with cc. Some say that the oil only adds to it, others swear by it. Hopefully she is past the age where she'll not get it. If she does, if one doesn't work, try the other.
let me tell you that my son had cradle cap and then some. being a young new mother, i freaked the firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc time i moved all his hair out of way and saw his scaley little head. ugh. i still get chills thinking about it. i was like a mama monkey picking at his head for three months straight! haha. anyway, he had a lot of hair when he was born and i asked the doctor and they pretty much said its gonna happen. ** except i never heard of annie's suggestion and that sounds like a good one ** but, if and when it happens to yours, all the usual things will help. i tried em all. baby oil and a soft bristle brush helped best i think. they make these special "cradle cap" creams and lotions im sure you've seen in the baby aisle at the store, but i don't think its worth it to spend the extra money for something baby oil will do. either way, cradle cap is not a big deal and doesn't bother them any, it just doesn't look very pretty.
How do you pronounce her name?
