My husband and I trying to conceive. I went off of the pill in Feb. but didn't get my period at the end of the pack..which did happen sometimes. I ovulated about 3 weeks later, and got my period 2 weeks later (March 21st) I should've gotten my period on Mon. (April 18th)and haven't yet. I took a hpt on Thurs and it was neg. Then yesterday (Fri) I had horrible cramping like nothing I've experienced before. I still have the cramping today but not as bad. I know I may just be getting my period late but was wondering if anyone had a similar situation whether you actually were pregnant or not. Thanks!
I was on the pill for 4 years.. went off of it about a year before I wanted to try for a baby. the following month that I got my period it was really bad.
They say that if you are on the pill and want to try for a baby you should wait for three months before trying. I charted my periods for a year and then started trying. I used a OPK and got pregnant right away.
Yes coming off the pill can send your cycles in a uproar.
It has been regulated by the pill for years then you stop it... So your body, hormones are confused and anything is possible..
