Nicki - No, freaky feelings allowed (smile).  We have nothing but positive and inspiring thoughts for your cycle.  I'm glad to hear that things came back normal.  Now it's time to move on so you can concentrate all your positive energies on this cycle.  My cyst showed up after BFP.  The doctors transfered 3 embies.  They saw one clearly in the uterus, and they thought there was one on my blocked tube (how crazy is that!?).  Anyway, it turned out to be a new fibroid that they're watching, but with each ultrasound, but ovaries measured larger and I had frequent pain...especially sharp on the right.  I am 9w6d and the pains have subsided so I'm hoping they've shrunk on their own.

Audream - Monday is only a day away!!!  Are you excited?  I think I'm excited enough for the both of us.

LJ - How are you handling the clock/calendar/wait, etc?  How are you feeling?
I wouldn't allow myself to test until the day before the RE beta.  Keep us posted.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Thanks for the input ladies.  I appreciate it.  Nikki, I know, I know, I have to ward off any negative thoughts.  From here on out, I'll be good to go.  Thanks again.

Audrey- I'm so psyched for you. Tommorrow is the big day!!!  How are you?

Deb- I know.  I wish I would have known.  It would have been nice meeting a fellow fertility buddy.  Yes, we'll have to introduce our kiddies :)

Amy - I'm so glad your having such a great pregnancy and thanks for the wishes.  I hope we can all share motherly experiences together soon.

Going to try to get a good nights sleep tonight.  Saying a prayer for all of you.

Toni, thanks for all the positive vibes. It's like you know me so well. I also have a test left over from december and I think I'll use it tomorrow as my AF would have been due. Thank you for the offer though. It is too bad that Michigan is so far from Vancouver. I am so glad you are feeling better, time is going to start flying by. It's already April. I am so amazed that you are coping so well as a single mom and pregnant with twins. I was a single mom for awhile before I met DH and it's definately no picinic. I have a good feeling that your babies are going to be identical. I looked it up and it's totally possible with IVF.

Nicki, that is a horrible week. The amount stress you must have went through but everything is looking bright now. Remember what Toni said, that maybe excess stress helps. The two weeks prior to my transfer were extremely stressful. I also had that severe pain in my ovaries with my very first IVF cycle in 2002 and it did go away with AF. Keep us updated.

Audrey, GOOD LUCK TOMORROW. I have my fingers crossed and sticky, sticky, sticky thoughts.

Amy, I am glad you are doing well. It's nice to have you back and hear how things are going for you.

Debbie, have you heard anything yet about how long you have to wait?

As for me, I am getting nervous. My chest has been hurting non stop since Wed - especially at night and I have had some nausea this weekend. Friday I actually had the strangest craving for chinese, and I never crave chinese food. Fingers crossed that it's not the hormones playing tricks on me.

Hugs, baby dust and prayers to all.

Hi LJ, Audream, Toni and all the others who are currently posting.

Although ive not been posting i have been continuing to read and would like to wish the best of luck to LJ, Audrey and all people who are on the TWW.

LJ - The first inclination that I might be pregnant also came before the test day. I felt extremely nauseated at the prospect of eating Christmas dinner when it was put on the table! This was 11 days prior to test day.

I am now 17 weeks gone with my twins and am feeling little movements in my tummy which are making me smile. I am however still being sick but only in the morning now! We will find out in two weeks whether we need to buy pink or blue or both!

The last few weeks have been difficult because my grandmother passed away after suffering from cardiac failure. It is the babies that are helping me get through this sad time.

Best wishes,

Louise

Hi All,

First and foremost, YES!!!!! LJ,  Congtatulations Mommy, I am sooo very happy for you!!! I read your post right before I went into the clinic and so went in for my transfer with joy in my heart!!!

Nicki,
Sweetie, I am so sorry you had to go through that scare... but thank God you can move forward with your cycle.  I also had HPV and an irregular pap about 10 years ago.  I had to have cryosurgery and have never had a problem since.  Please keep us posted!

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well...thank you all so very much for your thoughts and prayers!  My transfer went well today...out of the 5 embies,  3 survived and are cozy, cozy inside me right now. It's nice being a couch potato again!!

Hey Ladies I am a surrogate for a couple in Italy and had a FET with 5 embies on wed 3/28/07 my beta test is due for 4/9/2007. I couldn't wait and took a HPT today and it was negative..I am so sad. This couple wants so badly to have a baby and I want to help them achieve their dream but seeing no blue line today pretty much diminished that for me. I have not said anything to them as I don't want to crush them until I have the actual test on Monday. Do you guys think it is still possible that I could be preggers. I am taking estrace vaginally which is not bad but the progesterone shits in the rear I must say are very very painful, but what keeps me going is knowing I am doing this for a very good cause to complete a family. Any insight or support would be great I have been reading everything from you guys and it seems like you have a small family of gals its great!!! Would the embies already be attached or could they still be trying to at this stage?

Thanx!!!!

By the way that was a typo it was progesterone shots in the rear (of all the letters to hit) ...

Hi all,

I am so sorry I didn't get to log in yesterday.  LJ I am so happy for you!!  I just had a really good feeling and I am so happy it worked out for the positive!!  That is just super!

Audrey - I am glad everything went well.  Please rest and do as little as possible.  I am convinced that is the way to go.  There are alot of positive vibes going on and I'm sure they will be yours also.  This is it for you too I am sure!

Surromom - I think you may have tested too early.  Give it another day or two - implantation my have occurred late.  And actually your mistype of shot was more accurate.  My doctor always says they are really a pain in the ass.

Toni and Lisa and Louise - glad things are going ok for all of you.  Toni I hope all is ok after seeing the heart doctor.  All of you let us know about the babes.  Nikki you too.

Nicki it won't be too much longer for you either!

It will be awhile for me.  I went to the RE last week and found out my biopsy was ok but showed that my lining was too thick.  My doc thinks the estrogen shots are too potent and wants to try a mock cycle using patches and cream instead so the lining isn't so thick.  She wants to do another biopsy after the mock cycle to make sure it is better.  She also wants to try to do it all without Lupron as I seem to be really sensitive to it.  The other problem is that even tho she put me on the pill, my lining was still thick so I have to take another type of medicine to help lose it with my next period and if not a D&C.  In a few weeks, it will be a year since my first myomectomy, where she removed 16 fibroids.  There is one left that may be a problem but seems to be under control for now.  The best part is that since I tried 3 cycles in a row since December, I now finally have a break.  No shots and I feel so much better not being on the progesterone.  I am losing weight and have more energy.  So I've got at least 2 months to go but I am ok with it because maybe this time it will work.  I have been really afraid to transfer more than two embies but I am thinking this next time I will do more since the live cycle will be the best chance.  What do you think?  All you moms of twins - do you think you could carry them if you were over 45 or would it be too hard?  Let me know what you think and sorry for the long post!
Blank
Avatar_n_tn
Audrey - I hope you are doing well - I really hope this works for you!

Debbi - I would transfer more then 2 this time.  I found out the reason I was so sick may be a genetic thing.  My mom's biological mother (my mom was adopted) was so sick during her pregnancy before my mother (back in the 1940's) that she had to terminate it because the doctor's thought it was too dangerous.  They don't know for sure, but I could have had the same problem as her - luckily for me there is something they can do about it now.  I'm really happy that I am having twins - I always wanted more then 1 child, and now I don't have to do the invitro process again.  I told my husband it was like buy one get one free - haha.  Now that I am out of the hospital I am doing much better - I have heard of several women in their 40's carrying twins without a problem!  Good luck, I really hope it works for you.

I hope everyone is surviving the 2ww okay:)

LJ,
How's the new Mom doing? You all must be celebrating!!! Please let us know how your bt goes on Friday. I have a feeling it's gonna be twins this time!!

Nicki,
Did AF come yet? Can't wait for you to get started!! I really feel like this is gonna be it for you girl!!!

Nikki,
Thank you for your spiritual strength...I really need that right now.  When is your next ultrasound? Are they anticipating multiples? Soooo exciting!!!

Debbie,
Wow...you and RE have been busy! I'm so glad that they have found a possible problem and are working to resolve it.  It's amazing, I've never heard of the uterine lining being too thick...if anything I've always heard that thick is ideal.  I agree with you that they should take all the time they need til they get it right.  Also, I agree that you should put in more than 2 embies...I've heard of many women in their 40's carrying twins. With the acupu, mock cycle, new meds, new donor and a fresh cycle, you are gonna be good to go!!!

Lisa,
Glad to hear that you are out of the hospital and feeling better. I hope you continue to feel "normal".  I also have a friend...her mother and all her sisters had severe all day sickness while pregnant and so she was expecting the same for herself. She got pregnant in September and has been sooo sick since then. Definitely can be hereditary.

Amy & Louise,
It's so good to hear from you again...and so glad to hear that you're pregnancies are going well.  Can't wait to find out if pink or blue???

Louise,
Sorry about your grandmother and glad you can find some consolation with your wee ones!

Welcome Surromom,
Glad you joined us. Did they transfer 3 or 5 day embies?? It's definitely too early for 3 day embies...I would test again in a couple days.  Such a generous thing you are doing for this couple...you must be an angel for them!!

Well, I have to say it's definitely easier the second time around...I am not obssessing over every cramp and twinge. I definitely feel better this time.  First time I was so bloated and tired.  I can definitely go back to work on Monday.  Again, I pray for the miracle and blessing of a child... I have put all my faith in God and his divine plan. My bt is on April 16.

XOXO

Hi Mom2b,
Great to hear from ya again!  Did you and DH decide what your next move will be? I remember you saying that you might give IVF another try. I hope so. Whatever you decide, we are here for support!! Please keep us posted.

Toni,
How exciting!!...to be decorating the babies room and getting all ready.  I LOVE the Rainbow Fish story.  I teach Kinder and read the Rainbow Fish stories to my class every year.  When will you find out the sex of the other baby?

Surr Mom - you are incredible.  What a selfless, wonderful act of kind- and goodness.  I think it's too early.  Even though it was an FET and they were probably at least 5 day, they still need some time to stick.  Praying for you.  Hang onto the hope that it can turn into a blue line and a BFP.

OldDeb - girl, like Audrey said .. you have been busy.  I thought thick lining was the desired as well.  You and I need to chat more.  I'm curious about some of the things you described.  But anyway, I definitely think you should transfer 3 if not 4 at this stage of the game.  And 2 months will fly by so just hang in there and keep being positive (you are so inspiring that way) / hopeful b/c IT WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU.

Audrey - I know what you mean, my second try I wasn't freaking like the first either.  i can't wait for your test.  I am hoping and praying for you my wonderful cyber IVF pal.  Read below for my update.  AF came....

LJ - how's it going mommy?  You feelin ok?? You gave us the news and left us.  I want to know how you feel!! Can't wait to hear the levels on Friday's test.

Hey to everyone else!!

So for me, AF is over, and I did day 3 and day 5 b/w and us.  Turns out the worst is behind me with my ER hospital visit last week.  AF took the cysts with her when she left which is the good thing so now I'm just waiting to start my meds.  Today, they actually saw 2 good follies goin already with no meds so that's great!!! RE was happy about that.  So it looks like i'm in good shape for this cycle.  Trying to get excited but dreading the aweful jabbing in the legs of the injections.  Well, I'll be keepin you all posted as things progress.

Hi all,

Thanks for your encouragement.  This group really means alot to me!

LJ - how are you feeling??  I was so excited last night I had to tell DH about you!  He wondered why I was typing so fast and furious.  From all the posts, twins sounds in the works!

Audrey - you are super!  I get my first acupu tomorrow so I'll let you know.  I am glad you are less stressed this time and think it will help.  Relax and breathe deep.  Those embies are cooking!  For both you and Toni - I know I am really old because I have no idea what the Rainbow Fish story is!

Mommie2be - great to hear from you again - how is everything and what are your plans?

Surromom - I agree with all - what a great thing you are doing and that is actually my next option if my next transfer doesn't work.  Its scary on both sides and nobody expects you to perform miracles!

Lisa - thanks for the advice and I am glad you are doing better.  It's funny because I always thought I would rather have two at once since I am pretty old to try again so you might be right on.  I think that would be better than an only child with old parents!

Nicki - I'm so glad all is going well and I would be happy to chat.  It's great they already see some follicles and you will have some new professional input now.  I think it is scientific but not - there are so many variables!  I am not sure about the thick lining either because with the u/s it always seemed ok but I guess something in the chemistry of the biopsy was wrong.  Since you and LJ and Audrey were the first in the group I think this is the time for all of you!

Take care and happy Passover and Easter!

Thanx everyone I was a srro for a couple 5 years ago but it was an insemination and it took the first time so I am just down that they would put 5 embies in me and they not take. I am having a lot of problems with the clinic they won't explain anything to me so as far as tem being 3 or 5 day ones I just dont know. I thought they would stick in the first 24 hours that is why I had to be on bed rest for that time but apparently I was wrong since they said the needed to test my hormone levels to make sure they are high enough to make them "stick". Unfortunately I have had so many problems with the way the clinic has treated me that if they dont stick we will not be using the rest of the frozens due to having to find a new clinic and in VA this is the only one that does FET to a surro. :( I am just praying that Monday the test will show some good news. It's weird the last couple of days I have had cramps and the overall feeling like my AF is coming...What does this usually mean if anyone knows? Good luck to everyone I wish for each and every one of you to achieve you dreams of a family!!!

Well unfortunately the couple is in Italy I do most of the contacting through the lawyer...she is great and a pleasure to work with. The clinic amazes me there is one nurse there that is very insensitive. I had a BT scheduled for this past monday to measure my prog & est levels however I could not make it (that is the 1st appt. I have missed) due to I had to go to Richmond on an emergency my sister had a heart attack. You would not beleive all the **** she said to me and made me feel horrible. She said u made a committment and  u need to follow through and if they dont stick its my fault etc... I told her I am sorry but this test is not life and death like my sisters situation. This woman takes the cake and told me that my sister is not her problem and she does not care to know about it..I felt like I was on trial and not doing something good. Does she not realize that I am taking time out of my life to help these people I still cant beleive it well the lawyer agrees that we will not use them again regardless. Sorry I needed to vent about this!! Also, I will wait on the HPT since they have decided to move the BPT to Sunday maybe Easter will be a great day I sure hope so..good luck to you I hope you have twins in there so you won't ever have to do this again!!!

Surromom,
Unbelievable!!! What an attitude on that nurse.  You would think they would be very careful about the types of personalities they choose for this line of work.  And so sorry about your sister...I hope she is o.k.?  At my clinic most of the nurses are very sweet except for one.  I found out later from my acupuncturist that other patients have complained about her "coldness" as well. I'm glad you will not be dealing with that clinic in the future.  It would be awesome if you could get your BFP on Easter Sunday...what a gift that would be!!!

I'm just curious how it works...if you are pregnant, does the family come from Italy for the 9 months? Will you ever meet them, or does it remain anonymous? Sorry so many question!
Blank
174267_tn?1220408828
Surrmom- man that really gets me going.  I can't stand that and how awefully rude of that nurse.  I, like Audrey have a terrific group at my RE except for one nurse.  I just don't get why they choose that type of profession only to be cold and unsympathic.  It's quite pathetic.

LJ- cool, cool, cool.  Let us know the BT levels.  I'm still so estatic.  It's like me you and Audrey were saying back in December with our hope to get PG in 3's!! I'm trying so hard to pray and have faith.

Audrey- you have how many days left to test? 10 right?  Are you going to do a HPT this time?  I know the rollercoaster you had last time so just wondering if you will try this time.  I didn't last time and I don't think I will this time either.

OldDeb- so my RE had a similar view on the Lupron.  I will not be on that this cycle.  I was both times before so I was interested in what you were saying about your RE with you on Lupron.  How do you know if your sensitive to it?

Well I started my injections this morning.  I'm starting with 2 vials of Menapur daily and I go back in tomorrow morning.  I haven't taken Menapur and man does it burn going in. Ouch, holy ouch.  Don't know how long I have to take this stuff but it's not going to be fun.  But, the good news is, I'm well on my way!  Chat soon!

Nicki,
Yeah...you are officially getting started.  Awesome that you already have 2 follicles in the works...sounds like a good sign to me!

Debbi,
Please let Nicki and I know how your acupu goes.  I don't go again until Monday and am missing it...it is so relaxing and my acupuncturist has such a kind spirit. Hope you like it too.

Surromom,
OMG that s#$&s about the clinic not giving you all the info...you have a right to know!  Can you ask the couple...how does that work?? Are they here or in Italy right now?  Anyway, about the cramping and AF like symptoms...totally normal.  I know it is hard, but try not to dwell on every twinge.  Cramping could be the embies implanting but they are also symptoms of the progesterone you are on.  I am also feeling the same thing and did the first time as well ( this is my 2nd attempt). Try HPT in a couple days, and if not, Monday will be here in no time!  Hang in there!!

That is so wonderful, LJ.  Congrats again on your BFP.  Happy and healthy nine months to you.

If there are any three who deserve to receive their BFP's in 3's it's LJ, Audrey, and Nicki.  That would be so nice if you all were preggo around the same time.
Here's to wishing that it happens!!!

Surromom-You are giving a very generous part of yourself for the sake of someone else!!!  I do hope you receive your BFP.

I am at work now, reflecting on how we nurses can be at times.  I think if you suffer burn out in your profession, you should find another means to make a living.  Its a hard job, but we have to remember that families are putting their lives and trust in our hands.

I am trying not to be anxious about my first U/S with a regular OB later this morning.  I have no idea what they will do considering I am so use to having almost weekly u/s's up until week 8.

Audrey- we were blessed with 1 sticky bean out of 3.  We saw the hb at 6w0d.
I am currently 10w4d, and just trying to cruise into the 2nd trimester safely.

Good Luck and Sticky Vibes,

Nikki

Nicki,
Awesome you have started already. Sorry about the pain in the a**.  Someday we gotta let these lil rugrats know about all the sacrifices we made for them!!

Nikki,
So, you're a nurse : ) I bet you are a great one! What department and what state?  Congratulations on your lil bean!! How many embies did you transfer and day 3 or 5? Must be so relieved going into your 2nd trimester. I could see how hard it would be to leave the wonderful staff at the fertility clinic.  My RE says that he is always asked if he could keep people on and deliver babies (Lol).
I would LOVE to have just one baby...It would truly be a miracle for me!!

Nicki,
Forgot to answer your question about the HPT.  I think this time I will take an HPT but I will have to accept that if it comes out positive, it could be a false positive.  I just hate the idea of waiting for that phone call. The gal that called me the last time sounded so business like. I will have to take my bt after work on April 16, which means I won't get the call til the next day. Ugh!!  Do you know how soon I can test??
Blank
Avatar_n_tn
Ughhhhh!!!
That OB visit was a total bust!!!  I was sooooo not impressed.  I guess its hard to beat the care, level of knowledge and technology of a fertility clinic.  The OB that some of my co-workers recommended is not for me.  I guess as a type AAAB personality...lol..I want precise answers and direction after IVF.  Can't mess around with people's lives.  Should I wait a couple of visits or switch now?  They don't even do in office u/s!!!!!

Audrey- We transfered 3 day 3 embies grades A, A, and B.  I work on the other end of the medical spectrum:  Medical ICU...so I am totally clueless regarding maternity stuff....sad isn't it?  Also, I live outside of Atlanta, GA.

I was chicken...I didn't test until the day before Beta!!!

Congratulations LJ!  It's so great when they confirm the HPT.  I remember I was still nervous about my blood test, even though my HPT came back positive.  I couldn't be happier for you.

Surromom - I'm so sorry that the nurse gave you such a hard time.  I really hope you get a positive and won't have to do this again.  What you're doing is wonderful - I wish you the best of luck.

I am still doing much better since I left the hospital although I have a bunch of new syptoms (symptoms) - backache, headache, and my nose is always congested and stuffy - but having all of those is still way better then being sick all the time. I'm already heading into my 14th week - boy does time fly fast:)

I hope everyone has a great Easter!

Thanx everyone for your support. The way the surrogacy works is they will visit me prolly once during the pregnancy. Then as the due date approaches they will come to the US and stay till the baby is born and then we will treat it as an adoption and they will take the baby home with them. This is all contingent on whether I get preggers eventually..... I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Thanks for all the baby dust and prayers. Glad not to be at work today, able to feel a little better. I tested on the day I would have gotten AF about 10 days after the transfer and the positive line showed up within 30 seconds. I have been extremely tired, sore chest and stuffy nose.

Surmom, sometimes people just don't think. They have no empathy for others. I do hope you get a BFP, testing too early can be disappointing. Wait until a day before the BT or at least 10 days after the transfer. Good luck to you.

Toni - I knew it was going to be two boys and their probably identical. I am so excited for you. I hope you are still feeling well.

Audrey, how are you feeling? I can't remember were they blastocysts? Don't test until at least Wednesday. I know it's hard, are you back to work on Monday?

Nicki how are you doing? How are the meds going? Good things come in 3's remember...

Nikki - congratulations on your little one.

Happy Easter to all!!  Well this group is surely getting active again and what a great thing!

LJ - so glad to hear your beta is excellent.  Even with not feeling perfect, life is good!  I'm sure this will be a great holiday for you!!

Audrey - I am thinking babydust vibes for you.  I had my first acupu on Thursday - what a fiasco getting into Philly.  All the way there I was swearing (and cursing) that I would never go back.  However, I really loved the acupunturist.  She is also very involved with Chinese herbs.  I was scared out of my mind for the acupu but I could really only feel one needle - can't even compare to the progesterone needles!  It was relaxing and after I drove home and went back to work, I felt energized and could think unbelievably clearly.  Placebo effect?  Who knows?  She is focused on getting my lining thin for my next period so we can start for the transfer.  I swear I could feel I started to get ready for my period a few hours after.  She said I should get acupu right after the transfer.  Did yours tell you that?  She is going to refer me to the acupu in my area.  I am so hoping for a BFP for you!!  My doctor has me do the BT 7 days after the transfer so but she says that is too soon for the over the counter ones.

Toni - congrats on the twin boys.  Expect a handful!!

Nicki - I hope those follies keep going!  Sounds like you are on the right meds.  I think my RE thought the Lupron caused my normal cycle to get really screwed up and didn't supress my hormones the way it was supposed to.  I didn't ask for specifics but should have.  I think these changes are going to work for you!

Surromom - Congrats on the BFP!!  See it was just too early,  It stinks that your experience has been so bad.  I hope you are making reports to the couple you are surrogating for - I'm sure they would want to know.

Nikki - Sorry for the bad OB experience.  If I were you I would transfer to a new one right away.  Does your RE have any recommendations?

Hey All- happy easter.  What a wonderful day to love God and family.  I will have a nice family celebration in a few hours.  Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Audrey- I was told that on a day 5 transfer (which yours had to be b/c I think they freeze them at day 3 which makes them 5 or 6 at the time of transfer) that you can test 8 DPT and that it should be accurate.  Good luck.. praying for you.

LJ- hi new mom. I'm doin ok.  Feel a little bloated but other than that, getting excited for next week.

Just so you all know, I was bumped to 3 vials of Menapur (pm) and 1 vial tetrocide (am).  I've been on meds since Wednesday so today is my 5th day.  I feel good.  The menapur REALLY hurts... BUT, I already have 4 follies on the right and 2 on BFP!   XO to all

I am also on my my 2wwk wait I am now on my 9days after ET, my test will be Friday this week, I been reading other forum and what we are feeling is fine.

on my 1-3 days after ET transfer I felt almost the same thing as you, I didn't threw up I only gag one time, but then it stop. Nauseas can effect of your IVF retrieval or the medications that you are taken your body is still getting use to it.

I was told that cramping and discharge is normall as well. Just make sure that you don't over work your self too much until you get that test. I know that the 2wwk is the hard part of this IVF process, just think positive....

sysmptoms I have so far is cramping on and off, felt hot, but no fever, sweat at night, little bit of back pain, one time felt pinch on my uterus, it felt like something is pulling it out, the pain lasted for about 2-3- second, once in a while felt like my period is coming. As long that you are not getting any red spotting then you should be OK. Just take it easy.

This site helps me get all the information I needed for the 2wwk wait. Good Luck! I am sending I am sending you a lots of babaydust......

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this site and I first found it on 2/22/09 the day after my ET on Saturday 2/21st , I had 3dt and am 10daysPT. Day 2 I was having cramping and I was freaking out.  and i have been having Breast tenderness this whole time. This was my husban and I's first cycle and we have both been two HUGE stress balls... First thing the following Monday after my transfer I called my doctor's office to tell them that I was cramping. They said tht it was a good sign and to relax and not worry. Well a couple days past with light cramps and then  up until a few days ago they got real bad(real bad) waking me up curled up in pain. So I called my doctor's office again, for like the 10th time. They said (cramps are a good thing in the ivf world). So we are 2 days away from our BT (3/05/09) and I have to admit I did a EPT today and it is positive, do you guys think it is right?

Wishing you all the best of luck ;-)

I am so glad I found this site.  This is my first round of IVF and I too had my ET on Saturday.  Over the last few days I have been experiencing cramping, breast tenderness and generally very bloated.

I have been so worried about the cramping, thinking it may be the start of my period but so far it's just cramping.  After reading that I am not the only one experiencing this, I feel a huge weight off my shoulders.

Hopefully I can make it to the end of the 2ww before going mad, but thanks to all for sharing their experience and reminding me to relax.

Best of luck to all.
