You don't know how happy I was to receive your post. I can't believe they blocked our comments when we were going so strong!!

I am so sorry to hear that your cycle was not successful this time around.  Please do not give up hope!!...there are so many women who have tried multiple times and have gotten their BFP!! LJ had mentioned that it takes an average of 3 tries. I know that it can get sooo expensive. We are here for you for support whatever you decide...please let us know what your next move will be.  Hugs

I am new to this site, basically i really never been on any of these sites before. But I am hoping somone can ease my mind. I had IVF done in Sept OHS transfered 2 but no dice!!!..I just transfered 3 perfectly good embryos on Monday so i am 2 days post and I have alittle bit of crampng on and off, but i had these cramps before the transfer I am hoping it is from the progestrone, does that make sense to anyone?  I just feel so lonely I did not tell anyone this time around not even my mother don't want to get evryone to excited, especially cause of what happened last time. My blood test is not until the 15th this is the worse, the cramoing just is making me so nervous any input from anybody would help? By the way I am 30 years old and my name is Jan.

Hello All,

I am new to this site and I just had 3 embryos transfered on Monday, I have slight cramping on and off is this normal its only 3 days? I had cramping before the transfer which i thought maybe it was from the progestrone does that make sense? I have my blood test on the 15th so nervous to find out. Hi Jan,
I had my first transfer in Dec. which resulted in a chemical pregnancy. I will do FET in March. Unfortunately, cramping is a result of the meds we are on. Most women seem to experience cramping to some degree with some getting BFP and some BFN.  I know it is difficult, but try not to analyze every cramp and twinge (I am guilty of doing the same thing ). My prayers and support are with you!!

    I did not have any cramps before or after the transfer. However, I heard lots of people said they had so much cramps after the transfer. So hang in there, you will be fine. Try not to worry too much. I know it's hard but nothing you can do. Do not try to take a HPT so early, wait at least 12 days post tranfer to make sure the result is accurate. I took the test just 7dpt and were negative. I was so sad and disappointed for a whole week but guess what? I got BFP at my doctor's office. I am 5 1/2 weeks now and feel very good. So, be patient, take good care of yourself and don't give up hope. I will pray for you and other people.

Thanks for your sympathy.  Boy I hope people find this post - I have started to feel like I know everyone personally.

Rene - I looked at the adoption site - thanks for the info.  I live in PA and my brother lives in CA - he and his wife are also doing the donor thing - we did the transfer a week apart in Dec. - it worked for them but they miscarried in Jan. unfortunately.  I also passed on the adoption info to them.

Audrey - I did see that MommytoSelena posted a few threads looking for people also - I will direct her to this site.  Hopefully everyone else will find it too.  I have 2 more frozen embies and I think I am also going to try one more donor cycle so I may be with you in March as well.

Jan - I did a transfer in Dec and an FET in January, both blasts and both with a BFN.  I had cramps the first time but not the second time so don't know.  I just think it is the progesterone that causes most of the effects.

Chau - you are so positive - it is nice to read your comments -they are appreciated!

I did the donor thing in Dec as well and it worked for me but I m/c new years eve. I would still like to do it again but financialy we can either do ivf or adoption but not try both so that is why I went with adoption because I know it will work in the long run.  I ache to be pregnate again. With our cycle there were no eggs left to freeze. I wish you all the luck in the world and positive thoughts too.  

Everyone else. I hope you have a great day and smile. Enjoy the day. I know sometimes things are not great and getting a neg. is just as bad emotionally as having a MC dont get to down . Pick yourself up go to plan B or try again. We all have each other too...Lots of baby dust today.

  Yes, this is my first IVF attempt. I failed 3 IUIs last year and was very frustrated. I had 3 days transfer and I transferred 3 embies. Next Wed I will have an u/s to check how many I am having right now.

I am new to this forum. I did IVF MAy 11 i transferred 3 8 cell embryos. since then i have had bloating constipation, cramps, lower back pain nausea mouth watering and sore boobs.I am a nervous wreck I did a HPT on day 9 and it was neg. I have been praying for the baby for so long.............
