Cyst Grew @ 19 weeks

At my 12 week sonogram there was a cyst on my left ovary measuring 9 x 6 cm, at my 16 week sonogram it measured 2.5 cm which was great.  However when I went last night @ 19 weeks it is back to 8.5cm again.  The Dr. is now concerned and has me coming back again in a week to see where it is and then to decide what to do. He clearly did not like that it grew again.  Baby girl is doing great.  Has anyone had anything like this?

I do not want to scare you, but this is what happened to me. I had large cyst on my left ovary at 5 weeks. At 8 weeks it was still large and there, but my Dr. did not do anything about it since it did not grow and little did I knew to worry about it. At 13 weeks I was rushed to ER and by 14 weeks the cyst rapped around my left ovary and killed the blood flow. My ovary was completely rotten when they went in and took it out! Very painfull!!! By 16 weeks other cyst did the same thing and I lost my right ovary. They were able to save my baby, even though it was close, but it was very said for me to learn that I will not be able to have any more kids on my own. I am now 30 weeks prego and can not wait to see my little girl, but it was a scary time and a LONG recovery process after having two surgeries.
Anyway, make sure you ask your Dr. about all the details and show your concern! You do not want to end up like me. Also, some cysts will resolve on their own. Obviously, my did not! Good luck to you!
