DESPERATE

I AM BLEEDING A LOT HEAVIER TODAY AND HAVE MILD CRAMPS, WHAT IS GOING ON? cOULD IT BE MY PERIOD? A LOT OF MY FRIENDS SAY THAT THEY GOT THEIR PERIOD EVERY MONTH FOR FOUR MONTHS DURING THEIR PREGNANCY, BUT NEVER CRAMPING, I NEED HELP AND ADVICE!!

ME AND MY HUSBAND WERE GOING TAKE A TEST TODAY, BUT i GOT SCARED BECAUSE OF THE BLEEDING, HE IS REALLY WORRIED AS AM I...



I JUST CHECKED AGAIN, AND I'M NOT REALLY BLEEDING THAT HEAVILY AND THE D/C IS BROWN AND I'VE BEEN HAVING STABBING PAINS ON MY LEFT LOWER STOMACHE!!

PLEASE go to the hospital.  If the pain is more to one side it COULD be an ectopic pregnancy and that is something you CANNOT go w/out seeing someone.  It puts your safety at risk.  You really can't say for sure until you are seen.  PLEASE take care of yourself and go to an emergency room or a doctor.  PLEASE let us know how you are ok?

WHAT IS AN ectopic pregnancy?

if you know you are preg, and having pain, so not put off getting it checked, you can bleed to death, from a ruptured ectopic preg, i know, i had one last dec, and had to have 2 pints of blood. if you are hurting, don't take a chance, get it checked out right away.

Sabrina, you know i honestly don't know.  I'm sorry! But i would venture to guess that if it is a cyst and it resolves itself, and you took a pregnancy test that was negative, then you probably don't have an ectopic.  Keep us posted! I've been thinking about you and hope you are ok!

an ectopic pregnancy is when the pregnancy implants somewhere OTHER than in the uterus...like one of your tubes, an ovary..usually they occur in a tube..that's what I just had and i had VERY sharp pain on the right side (the pregnancy was in my right tube)
