DID ANYONE HAVE SEX ,BLED SHORTLY AFTER AND MISCARRIED SHORTLY AFTER

I WILL NEVER FORGET,IT WAS MY FIRST PREGNANCY...I HAD SEX TWICE THROUGHOUT MY WHOLE PREGNANCY, THE FIRST TIME WE HAD SEX WAS WHEN I WAS ONE MONTH PREGNANT, AND RIGHT AFTER I STARTED SPOTTING FOLLOWED WITH HEAVY CRAMPING, I WAS TOLD, AFTER AN ORGASM, THE BABY CAN BE ROCKED PRETTY GOOD IN THERE, CAUSE UR ORGASM WHILE PREGNANT CAN LAST UP TO 30 MINUTES AFTERWARDS, IN THE UTERUS. IF YOU HAVE A "PREGNANCY AT RISK", ORGASM CAN BE FATAL FOR THE BABY!!!THIS WAS MY FIRST PREGNANCY AND I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO DANGER OF HAVING SEXUAL INTERCOURSE!!

SO WE HAVE SEX AT ALMOST 9 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY FOR THE SECOND TIME, AND THE SPOTTING(DARKISH IN COLOR) STARTED THAT NIGHT AND NEVER STOPPED , UNTIL 5 DAYS LATER , I MISCARRIED NATURALLY??? ANYONE EVER EXPERIENCED THIS PHENOMENA, OR AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT LOST THE BABY OVER INTERCOURSE?

Sex should not have caused it. Loosing your 1st pregnancy is normal.

Sex can cause miscarriage! I believe sex can cause miscarriage! Your midwife/doctor will tell you it's safe! But I recently had 2 Miscarriage shortly after sex and all of sudden my doctor starts telling me to wait until I'm further along and the risk of sex during pregnancy!!! If you never had problem they won't say nothing unless you have miscarriages then they start telling you why you should avoid sex! I had my first perfectly without a problem because I avoided sex! Now I'm pregnant again and avoiding sex and I'm almost to my third trimester! Listen to your body!

Hello everyone I was pregnant a few months ago and miscarried at 6 weeks after sex. I am pregnant again 7 weeks and am nervous to have sex. For those of you who got pregnant after miscarriage how long did you wait to have sex until the following time in the following pregnancy? I would regally appreciate your answers.

Yes i was about 8 weeks pregnant and had sex. Next day started spotting then that spotting turned into bleeding and cramps. Went to the ER and found out I was pregnant with twins and was discharged with a threatened miscarriage. Later that day a few clot came out and the cramping got worse just to go back to the ER to find out I had a miscarriage!!! So i know sex caused this!!

Sex is not recommended for high risk pregnancies but I didn't know that previously bc I too was told sex was safe. I certainly didn't know an orgasm was fatal either till I saw your post. The truth in high risk pregnancies is you can do everything safe and still lose it, I'm sure it wasn't anything you did to prompt a miscarry. I think a miscarry is going to happen if it's going to happen no matter how careful you are. God knows I was more super careful with each pregnancy and stil miscarried. Sadly. It's just very sad. I don't know the answer to why one miscarries and why multiple times too. Very sad too when there is a miscarry or two or seven and no live births. But any miscarry is tragic. Heart wrenching. Truly. I'm sorry for your losses. I recently lost another pregnancy. My seventh (w no live births) so I feel your pain.

Im currently pregnant. I've always had complications with my pregnancies. I already had two miscarriages this year alone. Last week on the 24th I got two positive test. I just miscarried on June 16th. So my body hasnt been able to heal. Any who...my husband and I had sex and I could literally feel my cervix pop open. It was a sharp pain. I asked him to stop he did of course. It was blood when wr stopped. I was ok for a few days. I spotted and starting on July 28th my bleeding got heavier. No pain or cramps just bleeding. Im convinced that it was a misccarge. My bleeding slowed down as of today. I have an appointment tomorrow. I've been praying for the best but repairing once again for the worse. I had some slight pains but none major. I believe I miscarried. I also had some clots pass. I had faint lines on all three of my pregnancy test. So tomorrow I will find out for sure whats going on.

Good luck! What happened?

This same thing just happened to me a few weeks ago.  My fiancé and I actively had sex.  This was also my first pregnancy.  We were gentle and more careful.  One day after sex I immediately went to the bathroom in pain.  There was a small amount of spotting then nothing, the next day the pain was gone.  This all happened on a Tuesday.  That Friday was my 12 week appointment.  Everything was fine until our baby no longer had a heartbeat.  The week before I had an appointment as well and everything was strong and healthy then.  This crushed us but in the results they found nothing except for natural miscarriage.  I am shocked.  Now my fiancé blames only himself and I feel terrible.  We plan on trying again in a few months and are both afraid to have sex at all.

Yes I started spotting at 12 weeks after sex for the first time in the pregnancy. Then lost the baby. Baby was fine in ultrasound for a while but the uterus was loosing blood from somewhere which ended the pregnancy.

I thought I was miscarrying because I kept bleeding after sex, and only after sex ( I didn't even know I was pregnant yet). After a few days, though, the bleeding started happening continuously for two weeks and they thought i was  having a miscarriage, but it turns out the pregnancy was ectopic. If I didn't bleed after sex, though, I wouldn't have taken a pregnancy test and known early enough for treatment.

I think what happens is an orgasm causes the uterus to contract, which can cause bleeding. However I don't think that sex is ever actually the cause of a miscarriage, the pregnancy is most often already destined to fail.

I had that experience at 8 weeks due to sex that may have been a bit too rough. A piece of the placenta came off but after taking it very easy for a week or two, everything was stabilized and there were no other problems thereafter. Neither orgasms nor an amniocentesis did any harm but I have to say my husband was very gentle after that incident anyway. Having been a really old mom with first pregnancy I believe I was at greater risk of miscarriage to begin with. The first trimester may make you more vulnerable to any uterus impact. Had I to do it again, I would indeed be more careful.

Sex and orgasm will not "rock" loose a good, uncomplicated pregnancy.  It is not uncommon to have cramping or spotting afterwards.

If someone is high risk, bleeding, or already having problems, doctors will often tell them not to have sex, though.

I had the same kind of situation, I was pregnant with my first (and so far only). I had just light brown spotting throughout the whole time I knew I was pregnant and my doc told me it was fine and it was just implantation bleeding, my cervix was closed and my numbers were fine. A couple days later my hubby and I had sex for the first time since we found out, he was very gentle. (I couldn't even orgasm, because I kept thinking of my baby, so I just faked it. LOL!) Right after a big blob of bright red fresh blood came out, I called my doc the next morning and told me no sex until 7 days after the spotting stopped and everything should be fine because your cervix is more sensitive in pregnancy and that's why I bled. About an hour after that I started passing tissue (the spotting was still brown though and no crapming) and they checked my numbers, they went down. I have been told that sex can't cause miscarriages, but I have also been told that sperm can cause your uterus to soften and open, so in mine and my hubbys personal choice we will wait until the first trimester is over to have sex next time I'm pregnant.
