No it does not cause infertility. Almost all of the women in my family have severe tilts to the uterus and all were able to get pregnant with no problems.

Another preggo with a tilted uterus here.  It did take us 8 months, but I think that had more to do with my cycle.

I have also have tilted uterus too.  My ultra sound tech told me that rear entry is the best position when ttc with a tilted uterus and that afterwards you should lay on your stomach for atleast 20 mins.  I tried it and got preggo the first month (O:

I was told I have a severely tipped uterus and am currently pregnant with baby #2. I don't think it causes infertility in most cases.

I also have a tilted uterus and had no problem conceiving my DD. There is a theory out there, however, that suggests that lying on your stomach instead of on your back after BD'ing may help. Who knows, worth a shot, I guess!!

I'm not pregnant but I too have a tilted uterus. That was the first thing I asked my fertility Dr. and he said there is no scientific evidence that states that this has any part in fertility issues.  However there are web sites that state otherwise.  Some go so far as to tell us to lay on our stomaches instead of our backs and this too you'll conceive having sex from behind as appose to missionary.  I think no one knows and baby making is an art not a science - if it's your time it's the time :)

I have a retroverted uterus (a little like a severely tilted uterus that is backwards...lol) and I was able to conceive.  Unfortunately, I miscarried, but the dr said it was not because of my uterus.  She said it may be a little more difficult for me to conceive given the position of my uterus, but that I should be able to get pregnant.

I hope this helps

My dh and I have been trying for more than 2 years and I have been told I have retroverted uterus.   They assure me that it is not cause of our problems, but I am not so sure.

When I went to my gyno ten years ago (another dr.) before I was married or even thinking about kids, she said I'll have trouble conceiving.  Well, whether she was lucky or whatever... she was right.   Even though the doctors tell me it should have no effect, until they tell me what the problem is (because they can't yet), I think that's it.

This month, however, we did an IUI with clomid and I laid on my stomach when I got home.  Maybe that will help.   I'll let you know.   GOOD LUCK!
