Well I know you ladies haven't seen me since Wednesday night or early Thursday morning so I thought I'd update you all.
Thursday afternoon I went to my regularRegular insulin OB apt at exactly 28wks. I wasn't feeling good. By the time the doctor got into see me I has gotten worse. My heart rate was 125. I was dizzy, sick to my stomach with a headache. He took one look at me and told me to get to the hospital.
I have no adrenalAddison’s disease Adrenal gland biopsy Adrenalectomy Catecholamines - blood glands so it makes my case severe and dangerous. I have to take medicine to live and if the medicine isn't correctCorrect (new formula) I could die very shortly.
So I went to the hospital and I have two medical teams working on me, my high risk OB team (best within hundreds of miles) and my endocrinology team is working to figure out whats wrong and get my lvls stableStable angina Unstable angina. When I was brought in they gave me a stress dose of steroids (some outrageous amount) like 300mgs over 24hrs to combat w/e adrenalAddison’s disease Adrenal gland biopsy Adrenalectomy Catecholamines - blood crisis might have been coming on. They are tapering me off of it and lowering it down to a stableStable angina Unstable angina normal dose now. As for the next 24hrs I am down to 40mgs over the next day and they will watch and make sure my blood pressure stays stable as it has been between 131/70 - 80/56. When I first came in my potassium lvls were low so I got a IV load of fluids with potassium. Once those lvls went up I was put on regular fluids through a IV. As of today they took me off they IV and are watching to see how I'm doing. They also did another echocardiogram which turned out within normal ranges. They are checking my thyroid lvl, and some other hormone lvls to rule out those as the cause of me feeling like **** and my heart palpatations and high heart rate.
Baby update: Allie has a wonderful heartbeat and even though it seems I am under stress she doesn't seem to be at all. Her heart beat has been between 120's - 140's. She has plenty of fluid, weighs 3lbs as of Thursday, and is still breathing REGULARLY on her own in the womb. I feel my OB apts will be bumped up to every wk now. Allie will be a scheduled c-section it appears at 36wks at the latest unless something major happens before then.
Good news for me!! It appears my husband will be brought home for the remainder of my pregnancy. Since my dizziness and possible adrenal crisis always coming back my doctors want someone home with me at all times. There isn't anyone else. So I've talked to his commanders, clued them in on what's going on and it appears Monday my doctor will be calling the red cross to have him put on emergency leave until after the birth. Which is sooooooooooo wonderful!! I miss him dearly. Hopefully things will be turning around soon.
Well just thought I'd clue you ladies in on me since I've been MIA for sometime.
that's good news about your dh coming home, i know how you feel being alone, i am on my own with dh and have no family around us, is tough now we have 2 kids and a third on the way, but dh comes home at the end of each day, don't know how you cope for long periods on your own, i suppose you just have to.
I'm sorry you are feeing so awful but I'm so happy for you that your baby is doing well and that your husband is coming home! Congratulations and I'll pray for your recovery
wow. I don't even know what to say? Keep your head high, thank god your little one is so strong. If she can make it, then so can you! We're all thinking of you and your family. Take care of yourself :O)
Wow woman! How are you feeling? Still horrible? I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers sweetie, I can only imagine how you must be feeling. Do they have any idea just yet? Or are you stuck in the limbo? Are they going to keep you longer? What was your TSH/Free T4 and Free T3 (Thyroid panel) numbers?
I'm still feeling kinda bad, headaches, dizziness, and nausea, and racing heart. Honestly they are playing in the dark and trying to do the best they can. I had a TSH done two months ago. It was normal. They drew my T4 today, along with my testosterone and 17OHP lvls which has to do with my adrenals and hopefully I will get those results on Monday. So I'm just waiting it out. I've been having more pains in my lower stomach. I don't know if they are contractions or what. Every time I get hooked to a monitor it stops so yeah. They aren't regular so no need to really worry I guess. I'm tired quite a bit so yeah.... My back, upper back... in my ribs, is also hurting badly and its getting uncomfortable so I guess I'm going to have to get some pain medicine.
Thanks to everyone's prayers and stuff. I feel discouraged sometimes, but I'm trying to stay strong and everyone here is so nice. So yeah......

Wow, girl! I'm glad they've at least admitted you to begin finding out what's up....at least you're not at home wondering what the heck's going on! And I'm soooo glad baby Allie's doing good! That's great news! And it's REALLY great news about your dh! :) I hope you start feeling better very soon!
