Dd has elevated liver enzymes

Posted in liver disorders also but dont know how much traffic goes through there... Hoping someone here may know something!
Dd had blood drawn b/c she's underweight (5 yrs old)...results showed elevated liver enzymes double what they should be. Ped felt her stomach & said her liver feels slightly enlarged. Had more blood drawn to check for diff viruses & the only 1 to come back so far is the hepatitus (hepatitis) panel & that was clear now waiting on the others. She has an u/s of her liver scheduled & a GI appt scheduled this wk.
Does anyone know of reasons for elevated liver enzymes? Her AST was 92 (norm is 20-39) & ALT was 82 (norm is 8-24).

I know, i've been meaning to reconnect over here :( all 4 of mine got sick recently, but w/ michaela it was way worse & it sparked a bunch of blood work, a GI appt, an u/s, & an outpatient test @ the childrens hosp this friday! We're freaking out b/c they cant give us any answers....ugh!!!! Thk u for saying hi! :) I will def update here as we get results.

Her blood tests came back clear except for signs of the epstein bar virus that she must of previously had & is now gone. U/s shows licer slightly larger than normal for her age & also shows diffise hepatic fatty infiltration... But she is 'underweight'!!! I don't understand! Also the GI doc said they wont go over the u/s findings w/ me b/c that was ordered by the ped & was not part of his own workup or diagnosis!

No results from her GI workup yet. :( we know they should have all the results except for the stool samples results...but they won't give us any results over the phone & our next isnt till next wk!. We tried moving her appt up just to get our results sooner but no dice!
