December Pregnancy Buddies?

by Mommietobe, May 12, 2006 12:00AM
Hey I am new to this site. I was wondering if anyone else is due in December? I am almost 10 weeks in a few days with my first pregnancy. I'm due around December 11.

I am just about where you are.  I'm 10 weeks today.  Due Date is December 14th.  I've been feeling yucky for about 4 weeks now.  Not really throwing up just feeling gross.  If I were not teaching middle school right now I think that it wouldn't be so bad but that's the luck of the draw.  I am very glad that this is coming at the end of the school year verses the beginning of the year where you have to be pumped up and excited for school to start.

I really don't have much of an appetite either.  I eat alot of just bland foods like noodles, and cheese pizza.  Not very healthy but the thought of anything else really makes me feel ill.

How are the rest of you feeling who still early?  Also, what kind of tea can I drink?  Any other food ideas to try and get some nutrients.

I do eat green peppers, cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

Thanks for all the advice ahead of time.

i am not due in december..but in september.  i just wanted to share some ideas w/ you.  i drink decaf green tea and a blueberry antioxidant tea that tastes yummy.  i had trouble because i dont eat meat and finding other proteins to replace that.  I eat 4oz of cheese a day, 1/2c of cottage cheese, a banana, a green apple, something tofu for lunch w/ a salad, 1/2c of yogurt and then veggies w/ chicken for dinner.  (i gave in and am eating chicken coated in bbq sauce).  I know this sounds like a lot but I am hungry. oh, and a water ice for dessert!!  just wanted to share.

I have been feeling pretty crummy too. For the past 3 weeks i have been vomiting constantly like everyday from the afternoon into the evening but it always seems to stop when my DH gets home. He thinks it is kind of funny.

The only foods i seem to be able to get down are pears, mashed potatos and the occassion pizzarotti, they are the only foods i can keep down.. I drink decaf green tea  and lots of water.  my doctors advised me to eat a lot of bland foods like skinless chicken , and told me to avoid fried chicken and foods that arent cooked all the way. but that isnt a problem for me because im not too fond of meat. i heard peanut butter and dried beans were good too.

I am also due in December between Christmas and Dec. 30th.  I have been feeling very very sick.  I dont puke or anything like that but everything makes me ill.  Watermelon helps my nauciousness.  My stomach seems to burn a lot, (I think it's stomach acid).  Do any of you get this too??     I have no appetite but a sickly feeling when I think about food.  Oh, water makes me so sick..

Thanks.
I go for my first ultrasound on Monday. Very excited!

I definitely am in the same boat with the food problems. If i drink too much water in a short period of time i get sick too. It makes me sad because I know I have to eat. I just get so sick.

When do the nausea and vomiting go away?

i think the nausea goes away between 12 and 16 weeks.  I hate feeling like that..  It's like, I don't even know what to put in my tummy because everything sounds discusting. (not sure if I spelled that right)..  I am terrified to eat too because I hate getting sick..
