Depends vs. Overnight Pads

Has anyone ever tried wearing Depends adult diapers vs. the overnight pads after their baby was born? If so were they more helpful or just awful?

How were they?

Felt like normal pads but I do actually think they did hold more than pads do (less leaking).

I used Depends because I had a c-section and I was lying down a lot and didn't have to worry about a pad leaking backwards.  Just be sure you get the right size pants -- I got Depends' smallest size and felt less like I was walking around with a duck's behind.  Once the bleeding lessened I want to pads.

I love the Depends pads for pp.  They are super soft and absorbant.  Already have a supply for when this wee one shows up.
