Morning Ladies, Mondays stink and I wish it were still the weekend. :)
I am 19 weeks today and very dizzy. I am sitting and am actually afraid to stand up. I feel clamy and flushed like I am going to pass out. I ate breakfast and my B/P is good, the temp is also nice and comfy in the office. Any Ideas on what is causing it and what I can do to make it go away???
Any one else going through this in the second trimester???
If I am active and then stop and sit I get dizzy and sweaty but I attribute mine to being on bed rest so I am not very active most of the time. For instance If I have to go somewhere I get ready go outside where it is extrmely hot and then get into the car - it may take a few moments for the car to cool off and after that I start to feel dizzy and sweaty - almost to the point of getting sick to my stomach.
I have headaches but not today and they are not usually followed by dizziness. I drank a pepsi so hopefully I will feel better and it was just one of those fluke things.
Hey girl, I had that happened to me earlier on. I think it's your hormones. Have you had your iron checked? I hope this will pass soon amd take it easy!
Iron was checked and it is good. I kinda figured it was just hormones. UGH..... I hate feeling like this though. I have not been getting much sleep so that also may be the culprit.
I've had that with every pregnancy also. I would get so dizzy I'd just sit/lay there and watch the room spin. When I got up, I was so dizzy and lightheaded I threw up. The dizzy spells happened no matter what I was doing
I'll never forget how scarey it was that one of those episodes happened while I was driving down the highway. I had to pull off the road till it passed.
When I was 18 weeks pregnant with my son, I had the dizzy spells and headaches and a tightness in my chest and it turned out that i had gestational diabetes, and my sugars were really high when i experienced these symptoms.
i am also having the exact same problems you are and i'm also 19 weeks pregnant. dizzy, racing heart, hard to breath, etc. I have had several tests done, had to wear a haulter monitor for my heart, blood work.... my doctors can only come up with the diagnosis of "mild panic attacks". they put me on some anitdepressants to calm me down but i am to close to my 3rd trimester so cant take it... the best thing i can tell you to do is to sit or lay down and take slow deep breaths and try to stay calm do not get to freaked out. it should pass in a couple of minutes....
the worst one i have ever had was a couple weeks ago and i felt like i was dying. my doctors said that it will probably last until the end of my pregnancy..
i'm in my 15th week and i've had these dizzy spells for a few weeks now, an my midwife said it was my blood pressure, that it was low, but shes only eva checked my blood pressure once and that was fine, i'm just abit worried .
Hi i am 24 weeks pregnant bout to be 25 weeks on Tuesday and i still get lightheaded and this really weird feeling in my throat. I also have been getting body aches for the past couple of days. Not sure what this means though. my daughter she kicks still but its the feeling that i get that bother me.
19 weeks with twins here and had the same dizzy, faint, hot, sweaty feeling this morning.
Called the Doc, they said that these symptoms were common about this time of the pregnancey and can be linked to blood surgar, blood pressure or dehydration.
I was requested to drink lots of water, have something to eat to keep my sugars up, and lay down if possible.
My mom said it sounded like my verigo was messed up. It's something to do with your inner ears and keeping your balance. My OB said that I didn't have gestational diabeties, but it was on the lower side of normal. I had to eat/drink something every two hours to keep my sugar level stable. It did work.
