Does anyone have ovulation pains each month and what are they like for U?

I think I am having ovulation pains every month. Every cycle, like clock work, on cd14 or CD15, i get a sharp little twinge that doubles me over for a split second and then its over, i mean i can put my finger directly ON MY OVARY! it really hurts!  it just lasts a minute tho. so i got it on the right side this month, the 12th, on my way into work, around 8am.

DH and I bd'd 24 hours before this ovulation pain and then again 24 hours after it....not TTC, just had time off at the same time for once! lol

We are supposed to be taking January off anyway from TTC and i havent been charting or paying attention to my monitor or anything. but because i am addicted to this process now, esp after our m/c.....here i am again.

is it possible we couldve done it this time or missed the egg again?

I can always tell when I ovulate.  For me, it's just a dull ache and sort of a feeling that a rock or something is on or in my ovary, if that makes sense.  I think you could have totally conceived.  I did the first time I tried when I felt that ovulation pain (mittelschmerz).  Unforunately, it ended in a m/c, but at least you know when you are ovulating.  I think it's a blessing to feel your ovulation for sure!!  Good luck!

I used to feel a sharp pain in my ovary (changing side each month), it would last for a good 30 minutes or so.
I haven't felt it in 2 months (well I did the day before getting AF in december) and since not feeling it for the past 2 cycles, I've been 2 weeks late each time.

I also have an ache in my right ovary accompanied with sharp pains at times during my ovulation day.  I also can get aches in my lower back on the right side.  I use opk's--so it's always nice to have the confirmation with the aches too.  I hope you get your bfp!

I felt a sharp pain on Dec. 6th... didn't really know what it was... turns out I was ovulating and conceived that night.  It was a very sharp pain near my vagina and it made me say ouch out loud!
