Does "no side effects" from Clomid mean it's not working?

by Libby22, Mar 11, 2008 12:26PM
I am on my first round of Clomid (50mg) and just finished yesterday (took it day 3-7).  I had no side effects at all.  Does that mean it isn't working?

I ovulate just fine but they put me on clomid because we have been trying for well over a year to get pregnant and have had no luck.

Please help...

Thank you.

Hello,

First good luck to you.

I went to my OBGYN last fall and they did put me on Clomid 50 mg as well, even though i did ovulate, since they knew i wanted to get pg faster. But nothing happened for 3 months i tried, that doesnt mean it will not happen for you, but just be careful because there are some side effects like systs. I got one but it went away month after.
Not i am doing iui with clomid, hoping that would help. But i really hope that it works for you, good luck keep us posted.
