Drinking white tea while pregnant.

Does anyone know if it is safe to drink white tea while pregnant?

Well I hope that we get a good reponse from this question! I too am a tea drinker but only since I have been pregnant (7wks) and b4 that was a coffee drinker.  I think whilst it still has the caffeine in it, I only have 1 max 2 per day and very weak with no sugar.

Hi I hve been in hospital with my pregnancy several times due to a large cyst. During my time there I was given more cups of tea than I have ever drunk in my life! I've been keeping off the stuff as I thought it wasn't good for the baby, but the doctors didn't seem to mind how much I drank.

i'm a tea drinker too... limit the caffeinated ones, and stay away from the herbal teas that can cause contractions (talk to an herbalist... i stopped drinking raspberry and peppermint teas.) otherwise i think they're fine in moderation.

I drink tea all the time. I do drink Decaf though, but thats because I am a very anxious person, and caffine just makes me really hyper.

Never been told not to drink tea.  I know that there are some herbal teas that you should stay away from, but really a herbal tea drinker so not sure which ones these are.

Ask your doctor if you are still not sure about it. It is the only way to reassure yourself totally.
