Drying up after Breastfeeding

Does anyone have any ideas to help me dry up.  I have been pumping for my daughter for 1 month because she just won't latch and I am can't keep up anymore.  It is so hard to pump and feed in the middle of the night.  

I have heard so many different things, but just wondering if anyone had any ideas.  I never actually breastfed because my daughter was in the NICU for 2 weeks, she has always taken my breastmilk by feeding tube or bottle.  I have been replacing a few bottles a day with formula and have gradually stop pumping as much.  I am starting to get some pain and just wondering if there was anything I could do to speed up the process.

i just weaned off the pump last week after pumping for over 6 months. i started out by both dropping pumps and shortening the pumps. how often are you pumping and for how long? let me know and i can probably help you figure out the next step.

Great job for pumping after your baby was in the NICU.  My DD is 9 mo and all the sudden she weaned herelf. I was so sad.  So I pumped for awhile but it was too much work...I was missing out on time with my baby.  SO, I slowly did less sessions and for less minutes.  Then I would skip a day.  I only pump when I feel like I cant take the pressure anymore.  Actually I havent had to pump in 3 days so I guess I am drying up.  It only took about a week.  AND I LOST 5 POUNDS IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS since I stopped!  I am now back to 115 pounds which is less than my prepregnancy weight!!  I think I was hanging onto the extra 5 pound from breastfeeding...I've been trying to lose that for 5 months!!
