Due in 9 days and still no name!

Hi girls!  Im due on the 29th and we know we are having a girl but are still stuck on a name.  We just cant seem to agree on anything!  Maybe you all have some fresh ideas.  Ive gotten some ideas before but that was a while ago and nothing really jumped out.  We have 2 little girls already and they are Hayley and Audrey.  I like Claire or Hilary but DH doesnt care for them.  Hes being so difficult and its really starting to tick me off....HELP!   Any ideas would be great.  Hope your all feeling good!

Wow, you'll agree on a name when you see the precious little girl! I changed my son's name the day he was born...so even having a name picked out doesn't mean you'll use it.

My husband likes the name Mackenzie, (maybe its a guy thing you could pass that one by him).

Lauren was another one of my names and I love Alyssa!  Hes just being so stubborn.  The middle name is Ann after his mom.  The only name he likes is Victoria and Rachel.  I think Victoria is beautiful but there are 5 in my neices class.  My dh wants to call her Vic or Vicky for short.  Im not crazy about that at all!  I think once shes born he will come around a little.

Just wanted to wish you good luck!  My DH and I struggled with the names too and went into my induction with a few names picked out.  We wanted to see him first like we did with his big brother.  My DH hated the names I was suggesting and I didn't like his.  I did let him make the final decision when Cameron was born.  It was so funny because our older son kept telling his daycare provider that he was going to get a baby brother named Cameron.  It was a name I mentioned a long time back and we had passed on it since DH thought it sounded like a last name.  When the little one was born he looked so much like his big brother we just laughed and my DH introduced the nurse to Cameron.  It fit so well since he was a little minature of his brother and his big brother was so pleased.  Anyway, narrow it down to a few and when you see her, you'll know.  PS, we have a little Claire across the street, cute little bug!

I have a neice named autumn and I think it's beautiful.  I said Reagan and Miley already ... I also like Kendall, Kellen, Brielle, Kate, Kelsey... Some of those are on my middle name list.  I'm going with Leah for her first name.  I also like Alexis but it's getting a bit common.  My neice on DH's side is named Kaylee.  Also once knew a girl named Jade.  Throwing some stuff out there!

I have nieces named Ryann Marie and Rylee Errin, Megan Leigh, and Kaylyn Brianne, and Constance Marie.  I personally love Kathryn and I'm hoping I get to use that one - it was my grandmother's name.  If you have anyone in your family who does geneology, you can look for a special family name, maybe a grandmother or aunt.  I personally ALWAYS vote for Rebecka - can't imagine why - giggle

We are having a boy, and we've chosen Blaise Ripley.

Claire is pretty, I also like from the other suggestions Kellen and Lilly.

We already have four daughters Morgan Emily, Kirsten Olivia, Carys Eloise and Eden Hermione.

The only girls name we both agreed on this pregnancy was Leia (as in preincess from Star Wars - pronounced "Laya"), I loved Lola and my DH liked Maia and Ripley (an Alien movie fan you see!) again for a girl (I noticed you have "ey" endings on your other girls names) so maybe that might appeal.

Leia is such a lovely name. Especially since DH picked it! My DH is generally movie/TV mad. Every name he suggested was from something he'd watched. The only trouble this pregnancy was I chose the girls names so gave him a choice this time with it being a boy! He liked Blake (from Blake 7 I imagine!) so I was looking up the meaning in a baby name book and out popped Blaise which I loved. He commented if he'd suggested it I would have laughed........... probably!
So I "allowed" him Ripley as a middle name, I wasn't that taken by it to be honest (perhaps because he'd chosen it!!) but it sounds nice in the middle. He's still cursing about it but really loves the name :)

I think that Blaise is a very unique, but also very  nice name.  I LOVE different names, not the top 10 list.  Lucas is still a common name, but there aren't any in my sons grade!  Yeah!!!
I like how us WOMEN "ALLOW" our significant others a little bit of say, if I was totally against something, I would humour him and then change it later...LOL

Lucas was on my list this pregnancy! What good taste in names we have!
I'm in the UK and the top 100 name lists differ considerably country to country.
Morgan is more common for girls now, but there weren't many when my first DD was born (she's 12 now) but a funny thing happened when my 3rd DD started nursery I was convinced she would be the only Carys we ever met as I'd never heard it used before but lo and behold there was another one (same spelling aswell) in her nursery class.....Now Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones have a Carys so it's become more popular too. Guaranteed Blaise won't be "unique" for long!!
