EYE INFECTION 1 MONTH

BABY 1 MONTH HAS AN EYE INFECTION HAD IT FOR A MONTH DOCTOR GAVE ME MEDS FOR HIM BUT WANTED TO WAIT AND SEE IF IT WILL GO AWAY ON ITS OWN AND WANT A NATURAL CURE FOR HIM. HIS EYE GETS THIS YELLOW DISCHARGE AND IT COMES WHEN HE CRYS OR SLEEP. SOMETIMES ITS NOT YELLOW IT CLEAR SOMETIMES. I JUST DONT WANT THE OITMENT TO BURN AND HURT HIS EYE. THATS THE ONLY PROBLEM IVE HAD HE WAS BORN WITH IT.

If you are breastfeeding you can put some of your breast milk in his eyes a few times a day. it may sound a bit weird but it is a natural antibiotic and works a treat.

My daughter had the same thing for about 2 ish months(maybe a bit longer) The doctor had told me it was likely due to a plugged tear duct. It was also yellowish and sometimes clear. We didnt use any antibiotic drops or anything, it just gradually went away.
I would definatly try the above posters suggestion before using the drops. Good Luck with the little one.
