Early Pregnancy Symptoms!

Hey there. This is to all the preggos out there. I'm a little nervous that I'm not experiencing major symptoms like nausea, fatique, and heightened smells. My period was due yesterday, so maybe I'm just to early to get them???

Can you tell me when you first started exp. major pregnancy symtpoms? (like when nausea and fatigue set in) Thanks.

I didn't get anything until around 7 weeks. Now with my first DD, I had nothing at no time during my pregnancy. So if you don't get any symptoms, don't panic. My first thing was sore boobs with this one. I thought I was gonna die! And then the nausea kicked in. But like I said, some women (including me) never have any symptoms and do just fine!

I am 6 weeks 3 days and I'm still not having many symptoms.  I did not have ANY symptoms until about a week ago.  I was late that was it...nothing else.  After i found out...about 4 weeks...i started having cramps.  Last week my bbs started getting REALLY sore, that was at 5 weeks...

Don't worry...some women get to have an easy pregnancy :o)

I am confused here.  You just missed your period.  Have you taken an HPT???  I may have missed your post somewhere.  I am taking it by the question that you are pg.  Well to answer your question I had morning sickness and heartburn within 2 days of getting pg with my first 6 yrs ago and with the one I m/c I did not have a lot of symptoms at all (not to scare you) and with this baby I had very little symptoms until around 7 or 8 weeks and even then they were not bad.  I would not worry right now.  I think it is way to early.  You may get lucky and not have anything or you may wake up one morning in a few weeks and wish you were back to nothing.  Good Luck to you.  Take Care

My symptoms started the day I conceived which is crazy but thats how I kinda knew I was PG.  I was on vacation and had a little nausea throughout the day for a few hours or so then it would go away.  I didn't think anything of it cause I thought it was cause I was ovulating.  Then when I was late, the nausea kicked in 24/7 and it hasn't eased since.  Just like they say every pregnancy is different, when you are PG, everyday and your symptoms are different cause I could be fine one morning but sick the next.  You may just be very lucky and won't experience much m/s. :) Is this your first pregnancy?

I didn't get any symptoms until later on too, but everyone is different and every pregnancy is different!  I honestly believe (to some extent) in mind over matter.  If you are looking for these symptoms then you will notice every little thing.  But if you go on with life as usual they might just pass you by!  Ok, not likely, but it just might!  ;o)

I know it does sound crazy but I had symptons 2 days after conception. I started feeling real tired all the time, bad headaches and a little nausea. I am 11 weeks now and still have the same symptons. With my last pregnancy I started to feel tired and nausea at about 5weeks. With my three miscarriages I didn't have any symptons at all just missed my period. Everyone is different I wouldn't worry about it.

Would anyone worry about a test (lines) not getting darker? I know you can't accurately measure HcG that way, however, I tested before AF was due (Sorry Christie...lol!) so I retested in hopes to get the dark line for dh, still faint. It was only showing on First response until yesterday then it FINALLY showed on Answer Early and my AF was due yesterday. I guess w/ my past history I'm just paranoid and concerned. It just doesn't seem normal when the other times I've had the dark BFP 5 days before AF. Any advice?

I personally would not worry about whether the line was dark or not. It could be something in the test.

CONGRATS on your BFP!!!!!

Blondie- yes I'm pregnant. I tested monday (12dpo) and got BFP and AF was due yesterday.

To who asked if this is my first pregnancy, no its not. 1st pregnancy ended in miscarriage last June at 13 weeks. W/ that one I found out I was preggo at 6weeks and started symptoms couple days later. I worry cuz that one didn't last and symptoms started at 6-7weeks, so I'm just driving myself crazy thinking that if i don't get symptoms till later, then it means its bad pregnancy. but thanks to all for your input, makes me feel better. I'll try to relax and not worry about it. But I can't wait for m/s, that's something that will make me feel better about the pregnancy. BRING ON THE M/S!!!! I'M READY! ;o)

And hther- congrats on BFP!! I wouldn't worry either about the color or darkness of it. Yay, we're preggo buddies, you said your AF was due yesterday, right? cool. congrats again!

hthr-Yay on your BFP! Congrats!

Steph _ I have known many women who had no sysmptoms at all so don't be worrried. My mom's best friend delivered 3 healthy boys without even Knowing she was preg until she went into labor.

Yeah it looks that way! Cool. Just to let you know, I have no symptoms whatsoever either (I know it's SO early but the want for confirmation). My last two pregnancies ended in m/c, a 3rd one was never confirmed (late af w/ faint + test). With each of those I started immediately (before I missed AF) w/ sore boobs and bloating. My cycles got screwy here lately and my boobs hurt almost all month every month. Well, they didn't hurt at all before AF time this month. Funny, my sign was LACK OF SYMPTOMS...lol! Hang in there, it'll all come soon!

YAY!!!!!!  CONGRATS TO YOU!!!!!!! I know you have been waiting for this.  I hope all goes well for you.  Try to stay positive as hard as that is I'm sure.  I m/c back in Sept of last yr and got pg again in Dec and am now almost 30 weeks and you know I had very little fear about my pg.  I did whenever I didn't feel as sick or something one day but I was never really really nervous about losing this baby.  I guess I just had a great feeling about this one.  I still have a thought that scares me when the baby does not move as much one day but I just put my faith in God and all seems fine.  I do wish you all the luck with this one.  A lot of us have been there with m/c's and look at us now.  Quite a few are almost ready to have our babies.  Take good care of yourself and keep us posted as to how you are doing.

hthr-
with my son my hpt turned positive 4 days early and instantly, the second the urine got to the test line it turned pink.
with this pg i got a faint positive 4 days early and darker but not super dark the day of missed period. so don't get bummed every pg and person are different.

steph-
my first pg i didn't get any ms or anything like that at all,
with this pg i got some nausea but not until about 6-7 weeks and now it is all ready gone. so don't worry.

Hey there, so your pregnancy is going well? How far along are you? You should be near end of 1st trimester, right? I wish you the best for the remaining months.

So when you got sick this time around 6-7 weeks, did you actually throw-up and how often? Or were you just really really sick/nausea w/ no vomitting?

Blank
Avatar_n_tn
only one day was i sick enough to make me go home amd just lay down.
i never actually vomited, just a lot of nausea.
wait to long to eat get nausous, eat to much get nauseous, smell a strong smell(ballpark burgers...which i love) get nauseous.

it's really a cruel cycle.
then one day i noticed i hadn't been nauseous all day and that was it.
yesterday morning i got a little icky feeling but that's been it.
so good luck

I did not get real bad morning sickness at all and what I did get was about 8 weeks and it was usually after I brushed my teeth or if I smelled something real strong like seafood. BUT lol I am in the third trimester and for some reason I am getting nauseated real easy now. I remember in the begining I was praying for all the symptoms and ackes and pains. Boy I would like to take that back now lol. I love being pg but these last few weeks have been kicking me in the rear end. :):). I even flew to Louisiana when I was about 8 weeks and it did not make me nauseated. I thought it would and I had brought extra little bags with me just in case. Hang in there girl. Soon the little symptoms turn into wiggly little turns and kicks that will keep you awake because they are so cute to watch and feel.

Hugs hon.
Christine
