Embryo Transfer....Now what?

by kahlilboyette, Mar 23, 2006 12:00AM
I am a 3 time cancer survivor, and recently had my first embryo transfer through egg donation.  It was 7 days ago, and I was just curious if it is normal to not feel any significant changes yet?  My pregnancy test is in 4 days and it's killing me not to do a home pregnancy test, but I'm way too scared to try it.  Anyone been is this situation?

Yes, congratulations! I hope this will work out for you as well.
Is that a 3day embryo or blastocyst? I mean, how many DPO will this be? I did tests on DPO13 and DPO15 and the values were 112/337 (twinpregnancy) and 55/152 (singleton). So probably the first pregnancy I could have picked up a day earlier with a good test, but I forced myself not to try that and wait for the bloodtest (and not be happy before the second one showed the values had at least doubled). I would try to wait for the blood test.
As for pregnancy symptoms, I never had any until 6 weeks. Everyone is different, don't panick if you don't feel anything!
Just keep thinking positive. You went through so much, I'm sure you can do this!

by jgirl34, Mar 23, 2006 12:00AM
I just wanted to say congrats!! I don't know anything about the transfers, but I know that I got all my symptoms around 6 weeks. Good Luck to you and God Bless!!

3 Time survivor!!!!  I don't know ANYTHING about embryo transfers but I just wanted to tell you congratulations on your survival.  Absolutely amazing!
Please keep us posted on your ttc.

Congratulations surviving cancer three times!  You are amazing.

This pg, I tested + at about 9 dpo and started having symptoms at about 7 dpo.  My first pg I didn't get any symptoms until about 14 dpo.

Best of luck.  Hope you are expecting!  Sticky, sticky baby dust to you.

by kahlilboyette, Mar 23, 2006 12:00AM
Thanks to all of you.  I'm only 32, so I feel like I've already overcome so much, but when you want something in your life as much as I want a baby, it's just really hard to be patient.  When we did the transfer, it was a 3 day embryo transfer and they put in 2.  This is the first time we've done it, so I'm just really unsure about a lot of how you are suppose to feel, etc.  I'm not sure what the DPO means? I'm not panicked yet, but waiting is so challenging.  I'm trying to hang in there, and thansk so much for making me feel better!!!

by twinsmommy, Mar 23, 2006 12:00AM
DPO means days post ovulation. If you had a day 3 transfer you can consider that as DPO3.

by twinsmommy, Mar 23, 2006 12:00AM
By the way, I thought about it and I didn't feel pregnant (nauseous, sore breasts), but the bloating from the fertilitymedication was really bad (I looked 16 weeks pregnant for a couple of days). And they say that that's worse/lasts longer if you are pregnant. But I don't know how your cycle works with donation. I tried to focus on those symptoms and not think about my bloodtest that way.

by kahlilboyette, Mar 23, 2006 12:00AM
That's funny you should say that (twinsmommy) because last night I told my husband to look at my stomach because I already look pregnant.  I am very bloated and after I eat anything, it seems worse.  I also have major tenderness in my breasts, but that is also due to the progesterone in oil.  Which by the way.....those shots REALLY hurt!!  I'll be fine one way ot the other.  I just hope that this is what God has planned for me.

i will have to agree w/you about the progesterone in oil injection, OUCH! i just had my 1st (m/c in jan.) and had a knot for a week. i waited for my cycle to start so i could start my clomid and it never came. after 2 1/2 wks called dr and he said to come and take pg test, +++++. we were very excited and very confused b/c the 2 times i have ever been pg it was w/clomid. anyway, i say listen to your body and your gut, sounds like you may be getting some of the symptoms. i'll keep my fingers crossed.

the first time I felt preggo soon and got a BFP on HPT at 12 days post transfer (miscarried)

last time.  I felt nothing at all - I about ffell over when they called me day 11post transfer to say I was pregant (they did a 10 day post transfer blood test)  I didn't feel anything for the first 4 or so weeks post transfer - then it it me
good luck and keep us posted (ps we transferred 3 3dayers and I delivered a healthy baby girl in dec)

by kahlilboyette, Mar 24, 2006 12:00AM
Congrats on the baby girl!  I think I will be in complete shock if they tell me I'm pregnant as well.  I go for my pregnancy test on Tuesday, March 28th, so at least I'm getting closer.  I still feel absolutely nothing...  But I guess you never can tell.  From reading a lot of what everyone wrote, I think it just varies from women to women.  Today is 11 days since the transfer, so I would love it if there were just some small sign.  How long did you wait after the first rtansfer before you did the second one?

by mgi, Mar 24, 2006 12:00AM
since it is 11 days a HPT should work with tomorrows first am urine

I waited 7 months between transfers because my miscarriage wasn;t complete untill four months after the transfer and then I switched REs

I have recently gone through IVF.  I had a 5day embryo transfer.  They harvested 19 eggs(more than expected)  B/c my fiancee was on diabetes meds (and wasnt at the time of his sperm test) they decided to do ICSIS.  17 eggs fertizlied...15 fertilized normal.  On 3/13 still 15 embroyos survived and they did my transfer on 3/13.  My preg. test was to be on 3/24.  On this past Wed. I went to the bathroom and wipped blood.  I was worried.  It was a one time deal.  I went home that night took a preg. test...imediately it was positive but I did not want to believe it.  She had told me to go in on Thurs for a blood test.  2 hrs later she called me to tell me I was PREG!!!!!  My expected due date is 11/29.  I go for my U/S on 4/13.  She told me they look for numbers to be around 50(normal) I'm not sure what number that is but mine was at 457!!!!  My breasts are very sore.  So you have nothing to lose.  Just get a home test.  What will it hurt!  I couldn't wait.  Good luck.

by 4everbaby, Mar 28, 2006 12:00AM
Hi, evryone.  I had 2 3day frozen embryos transferred on march 8th.  did a urine pregnancy test on the 12th day(march 20)and was positive. On March 21, I did a blood test to make sure that the Hcg level was good to confirm positiv pregnancy.  At least 25miu or more!  My doctor called the following day and told me that my Hcg level was very low 7.46. and she was very concerned. I was too!  But, when I explained her that I had embryos transferred on the 8th, she immediately said that it was too early and I should get another test in 48 hrs and by that time, the number should double to confirm viable pregnancy. I had blighted ovum preg in the past(from fresh IVF) and hoping that it will not happen again to me. I did get another blood test in  15 days(march 23) and the hcg level went up to 1,094. That was more than double!  should I worry about the number?  to me, it was really high considering it was only 15 days after transfer.  You would think that my doctor will say something about the high jump in number, but she didn't.  I'm scheduled for ultra sound on apr.18th and i can't wait to see if this is going to be a viable preg. I have no symptoms at all except for very low discharge and a little bit of cramping. I am dead worried! Please help if you know anything about the hcg level. thank you all  I

by latina_love_goddess, Mar 28, 2006 12:00AM
I had my lmp on 2/24 and my egg harvet on 3/8 and my transfer on 3/13.  On 3/22, only 9 days after transfer I used the bathroom during lunch and wiped away a light pink blood.  I got concerned, nurse said to come in on 3/23 for a blood test, 1 day early...my beta #'s were 457!  Now that is high you'd think since they say 50 is normal?  This past Sunday I went in and my 3's were 1316!  I go in tomorrow for more #'s.  I expect them to be aprox. around 3948.  They told me last week I was aprox. 4-5 weeks.  So I'm wondering if my #'s are high.  They told me my #'s are great.  Better than great but they never expressed any concern.  I'm not going to stress myself about this.  Its worrisome.  Let me know what you find out.  They only implanted 1 egg...what are the chances of twins?

by waitingforanother, Apr 11, 2006 12:00AM
I am now on my 4th IVF! The very first one I got preg. the next two I was not so lucky. I am now waiting for the results of my 4th IVF transfer. I am a nervous wreck! I really can't remember anything from the first preg. However, today i went for my progesterone test and they said it was 118, which is good. I can't remember does this give any inclination as to if a person is preg.
I think the waiting is the hardest part of the whole IVF cycle! I will be going for my preg. test on 4/18, so I am going to be on pins and needles till that date.
For those of you expierencing bloating, believe me I know how you feel. I look 6 months preg. Good luck to all!

To: waiting for another
you and I have been on the same journey. This is also my 4th ivf transfer(2 fresh transfer,2 frozen transfer).  I had 2 frozen embryos transferred on Mar.8th. got + preg. result.  I am now waiting patiently for my ultrasound on Apr.18th(around 6 weeks after the transfer). I don't remember having been tested for progesterone level prior to pregnancy test. I remember that I had blood work done for hcg and progesterone at the same time 2 weeks after the transfer.  I hope it all works out for you. hang in there and wish you are pregnant.  let us know the result. good luck!!!

Hi all - I'm new to this site and it's really comforting to know of some many women sharing the agony of the 2ww!

It really makes me smile to hear of the positive tests and I'm so happy for each of you.

I've had 1 fresh transfer, and just had my 2nd frozen transfer of 3 blastocysts on 4/11.  I really don't have much symptoms at all, and was glad to hear twinsmommy didn't either!  Anything to hang on to hope at this point.

by BabyDreamer30, Apr 23, 2006 12:00AM
I had my first fresh embryo transfer on April 9th with 2 embryos.  Tomorrow is my pregnancy test. I fear it will not be positve. I dont feel anything. I never had any spotting. I have not slept in 2 weeks. I am an emotional wreck.  I have to go to work tomorrow and if the test is negative I do not know how I will hold it together at work. My first IVF cycle failed before retrieval. I am a postpartum nurse and it makes it all the more difficult for me to work with happy new moms. It helps to see that I am not alone in this though.

I have gone through exactly the same thing.  DON'T WORRY it is possible, even probable, with in-vitro to have no symptoms you can immediately tie to pregnancy versus just the process.  Not even all women who get pregnant naturally feel anything for a couple of months!  IVF also can produce symptoms that are like pregnancy such that they mute the "suddenly you feel different" result you are hoping for.  For example, long before my embryo implantation, when I KNEW I wasn't pregnant, my estrogen shots did wonders for my bosom the way pregnancy does, including making them very sore! and the progesterone shots made my ovaries ache.  There just was no way to tell amid all the "noise" whether there are any subtle, subtle signs.  The main thing is to find the patience not to stress to pieces like a bird beating her wings against a cage for the (seemingly endless) time before you can get a meaningful blood test. It really is only 2 weeks.  If you just can't stand it any more, try a home pregnancy test.  It gives you the psychological out that if it is negative, you can sort of blow it off by saying that it was "just too early to measure," and if it's positive, you can relax.

by shell1227, May 03, 2006 12:00AM
I love reading all your comments.  I had my embryo transfer done 4/27/06 and my pregnancy test will be on 5/8/06.  I am praying that it will be positive.

You and I are on practically the same timeline.  I had embryo transfer April 24 (5-day blastocysts).  Was in giving blood for a different test at 8 days from retrieval (i.e., only 3 days after transfer), and they drew a vial for a beta-HCG test just in case it would show up that early.  And it didn't.  But by the time they called me to tell me this, it was four days later, and I had had a positive HTP the previous morning!  Took 2 more HPTs at days 12 and 13 from retrieval, and both were positive.  Then today I had a beta-HCG test, and it's positive, and the number is in the 400s.  (So neener neener neener to the grim nurse who bluntly told me the news of the first test without even a sympathetic cluck.)  Will be tested again in 2 days to be sure it's doubling.  Then we get to throw the confetti in the air!!!  We've been trying for a long, long time and this is the first time I have ever even seen a positive on an HPT. :)

by Bramelcha, May 04, 2006 12:00AM
Hi, I'm new to this thread, but have been reading it for a little while. I just had my 4th transfer on 4/17 (3 fresh, 1 FET) it worked the first time on a day 3 transfer and we have a son. Since then they have done day 6 transfers and they have been negative. We have one more try and are considering doing assisted hatching, have any of you experienced this? Congratulations to all of you who are pregnant! How exciting!! Thank you for your input!

by Silvee716, May 05, 2006 12:00AM
Hi everyone, I am in my 2ww and I am stressing.  I did 3day FET with 4 embryos on 4/28/06 and I did a HPT this morning and it was negative, I am so worried because I have been pregnant before and on my 7th day of the FET I got a faint second line on HPT and now is nothing.. This is my 4th try on trying, the third time I did FET I got pregnant with Identical twin girls, but I lost my girls when I was 6 months pregnant, it was a very painful thing to go through.  And now my husband and I decided to transfer the last 4 Frozen embryos we had left, and if it doesn't work this time, I don't think we would do this again, it is so hard physically and mentally.  I am wondering if anyone else got a negative HPT on their 7th day of ET but later on got a Positive?  I am having a lot of cramping right now, and a white discharge.  I called my nurse and she said that it is normal because of the progesterone shot.  I know I didn't feel like this the last time I got pregnant, so can someone help out and tell me their experience on their 2ww and if anyone first got a negative HPT but a couple of days later got a Positive HPT?  thank you.

I had a negative blood test at the hospital on an early day but when it still theoretically should have picked up HCG, followed in only THREE DAYS by a positive home test.  It has since been confirmed by two positive blood tests at the clinic.  So it is possible, even with the most sensitive tests, to simply be too early (the egg just took a little longer to implant).  The numbers:  they transferred two 5-day blastocysts.  Day 8 (i.e., three days later), I was giving blood for a different test, and they drew a vial to test for beta HCG just in case.  Result, negative.  Day 11 (just three days after the blood test) I did a home test with fmu.  Positive!  Day 12, HPT same thing.  Day 14 at clinic (blood based test), positive with good numbers.  So between Day 8 when they did the sensitive blood test, and Day 11 when I did the less-sensitive urine-based home test, the HCG appeared, and not just appeared, it appeared enough to show up on the less sensitive test.  It can happen fast.  Good luck!

I was happy to read that I am not the only nerotic woman out there.  I was starting to blame it on the homones.  I am 32 and 10dpt.  I woke up with the unresistable desire to know once again this morning if I was pregnant, because like most I have no syptoms (symptoms) other than the sore breast probably due to the horrible progesterone shots.  I am now worried due to the negative hpt results.  I took a blood test 5dpt and the hcg level was 20.6.  I'm sad and thinking that this is a bad sign.  Does anyone have any advice?

Sad and confused

Congratulations on your pregnancy.  I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and a safe birth.  Well I did another HPT on the 8th day and nothing.  I have decided not to do any more HPT and just wait until friday 12th for the Blood test to see what the nurse says.  I am still keeping hopeful, I hope God can bless us with another child and lets us take care of the baby.  Loosing my daughters has been the hardest thing I have gone through.  I am taking estrace (3 a day) and 2cc of progesterone everyday.  I am just feeling cramps, but my breasts are not sore or anything.  I will try to be patient and wait for friday and see what my results are.  thank you for your respond.

Again Congratulations on your miracle.  God bless you and your unborn child.

I just want you to know I had 4 Day 3 embryos transferred on 4/48 Also!!  I have taken 2 HPT so far and both were NEG.  I have my blood test Fri 5/12.  I am so anxious, it is nice to know you understand what I am feeling right now.  All my friends are pregnant/just had babies and don't really understand the emotional roller coaster IVF is.  If you get a POS HPT before Fri, LET ME KNOW PLEASE!

Wow, so we are both in the same boat.  The waiting is killing me, specially because I got the negative HPT.  How many times have gone throught this?  with me is my fourth.  When I first posted here I was feeling so disapointed and sad because there is a chance that it didn't work this time, but now I am actually thinking that if it doesn't work, I will try again, I was so happy to find out that my new insurance actually covers 90% of fresh IVF cycle, that is such a big saving for me and my husband.  We would probably end up paying a little bit more than if we were doing Frozen Embryos.  Well baby dust to everyone thats also in the 2WW and congratulations to the mommies to be.

This is my first cycle.  I was able to get pregnant with my son without any help.  This time I'm not so lucky.  I am actually in an egg freezing study.  My egg retrieval was March 20, the eggs were frozen THEN thawed and fertilized, that's why the RE transferred all 4 embryos.  Good luck on Friday!

Hi, Jackie, try again with fmu tomorrow.  Urine-based home tests just aren't as sensitive as blood tests. Your blood test at 5 days said positive, and it's only been 5 more days, so you've gotta have some HCG in your system, and the home test just didn't pick it up.  Try not to let it scare you, and test again.  GOOD LUCK!

Hi everyone! I was so happy to see this message board as I was very encouraged that I am not the only one who is waiting  anxiously and it is driving me crazy. This is our first ICSI/IVF attempt. 3 embryos were transfered 3 days ago and have been given medical leave to stay at home and rest. Being at home has not been much help and am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. My blood test is scheduled for 21/5/2006. Have not felt anything except for breast tenderness and some cramps probably due to the progesterone vaginal gel that I'm applying. Please pray for us and wish me luck!

Thank you very much.  Yes this is my first preganacy and my first try. Yes I did do a HPT on Day 5 and it was negative, so I was a little disappointed, but I did it too soon.  I had all the signs of implantation 3 days after the transfer (mild cramping, drop in my body temp. I was outside and I live in Florida and it is very hot, and I was freezing just sitting outside, then two days later I had a pinkish stain and not too mention I could cry about anything).  So I kept hopeful, but  waiting for the phone to ring with the results is the hardest thing.  If I could get pregnant, then there is hope for you all.  I have been married for 12 years, I am 35 y.o., I tried three times with fertility drugs to stimulate my ovaries and nothing.  So my Doctor said the only way was to use  donor eggs (she was 26) and it worked.  I really wish you all lots of luck!

Thanks for the information.  I will all the luck in the world with your pregnancy, now you can enjoy all the good food.  I am 32 and I have endometriosis, the first time I found out I had it, I had a HUGE cysts on my right side of my ovary that had grown so big that it inlarged my right tube and damaged my left tube, so they removed the cysts and right tube, than I kept getting cysts on my ovaries, so to make my story short I've had 4 laporoscopies (not sure if is spelled right) and the last surgery I had, it was last march, I had my left tube removed and had two cysts drained (one on each of my ovaries, they were about 10cmm in size) and after I had that surgery I did my third FET and thats when I got preg with my twin girls.  Because of my endo I injected lupron (I did it on my abdomen) first for about two weeks, my husband had given me the shot before, but this time I decided to give them to myself because I knew my husband was going to have to give me the progesterone shots, so I let him rest for those two weeks, so a week before the transfer we started the progesterone shots, I am so sored.. I actually cried the first night he gave it to me, I know is worth it, but It still hurts.  Well it was so weird that last night I actually tried doing another ept hpt and this one didn't work at all, it was defective.  I am glad it didn't, because if it would have been negative again I would've start crying and given up hope.  I will not buy any more hpt and I am going to wait til friday.  I can't wait for that day to come.  I am still cramping and am having a white discharge but my boobs are not sored, so I am not sure if is good or bad.  Well, congrats to the future mommies here, and good luck to everyone else thats on the 2WW.

I don't know if this will help, but my progesterone shots are going down easier than I expected, and here is what we changed from the doctor's suggested protocol.  The first part is the same: the doc told us to suck out the prog.-in-oil into the syringe with a really big needle (so it can get through the rubber bottle top) and then change the needle to a smaller one for the actual shot.  If that is the way you do it too, that's the first good thing, because the larger needles are painful and the smaller needles are better and they also go in more easily because they have not been forced through the rubber bottle top and been dulled by that.  Then, rather than stab you like he's throwing a dart (which is what our nurse said to do), what we do instead is point the needle to heaven and press on the plunger until just the tiniest bit of oil comes out and down the needle.  This lubricates it a little.  Then my husband takes the needle and taps on my hip (staying on the clean area that we cleaned with alcohol) until I feel less nerve "ow-ies."  There is always one place where there is just a little less skin nerve endings even if right next to it, it will hurt.  He keeps the needle point on that spot.  Then I take a deep breath, and as I slowly blow it out (with some force) he SLOWLY pushes the needle in through the skin.  Not stab like a dart. The first, about, a half-inch, it might smart a little or maybe not at all, but after that first skin layer, it DOESN'T HURT.  Then we go on with the doctor's instructed protocol, i.e., draw back on the plunger slightly to check for blood, et al.  Then I count "one thousand one, one thousand two," and so on, and he pushes the plunger about a line on the syringe per count.  So the oil goes in rather slowly into the muscle. Then he pulls the needle out and we cover the spot with a cotton ball and massage it, to encourage the oil to go into the muscle.  The only even slightly painful part is that first pinch as it goes through just the top layer of skin, but that's it.  The needle for drawing the oil out is size 18g 1 1/2, and the needle for shooting it into me is 22g 1 1/2.  I know this is such a long post, but it makes such a difference for me to be able to take those shots well.  I hope it works for you!!!

Also, our nurse said only to give it on the upper back of the hip, or else we would run into pain with the sciatic nerve.  It's below the waist but not very far in to the butt.  Hope this all helps.

Thanks for all your suggestions.  My husband is good at giving me the shots is just that since is oil base you always stay sore.  I actually have a little cushion type pillow that you warm up in the microwave I put it on my back so the oil that is still there can get softer and the small lumps can disappear.  thanks again and good luck.  Two more days till my blood test.  I am praying everynight that it did work.  I kiss the picture of my embies everynight before I go to sleep.

I was HOPING someone could help me. I had 3 blastocyst embryos transfered on 5/3 (frozen cycle) My blood test is not until Monday 5/15, but I caved and took a HPT on Sunday and Monday (day 4 & 5) after my transfer. They both came out negative!
Do you think I tested too early? Could I still be pregnant? I am so sad & angry with myself for taking the freakin tests, but what can I do now, right?
Any info would be so helpful.
Thank you for your time.

Most HPT you have to show 100 MIU/ML HCG (except EPT shows 40 MIU/ML).  It probably was too soon.  I asked the Fertility Nurse and she said do not take a HPT until 14 Days after your transfer and not a day before.  I did a HPT on Day 5 after my Day 3 transfer adn it was negative, I was so upset and decided just to wait for my blood test and that was positive.  Good Luck, I hope this helps.

To: To all the ladies here
Hi..well ladies I have a confession to make, after promising that I wasn't going to do any more HPT well I caved in and I had to go get one.  I kept reading other stories of woman seen a positive at 12 days after transfer.  With me its been 12 days today and I wanted to just prepared myself, since on day 8th I did a hpt (the digital ones) and it straight said "Not Pregnant" but I pulled out the little stick I could easily see a fait second line appear.. well, reading different stories and different outcomes with the HPT, I went and I bought a box of the "First Respond" box, and it is so weird that when I tried the first test it was deffective, this had never happend to me, so I waited like two hours and did another one, and on this one the second line showed up right after the first one, it is not dark dark, but dark enought to see it.  So ladies, I know I shouldn't be all happy until the actual blood test, but I really do think I am pregnant.  I am so happy now.  I will not tell my husband until the blood test.  But yes lady, I AM PRETTY SURE THAT I AM PREGNANT..

Marie Deborah :  You took this test too too early.  The first time I got pregnant (with Frozen Embryos) on the 7th day after the transfer I did a HPT and I saw a faint second line, and since it was my first pregnancy I kept taking hpt every other day and the lines kept getting darker.  This time with my second FET (4/28/06)I also did a HPT on the 7th day, and nothing, I didn't see a faint second line or anything, I was so sad, than I did another one again on the eight, and the same result "Not Pregnant", but what I kept seen was that on the stick I kept seen a faint second blue line, but after reading all about not reading what you see on the stick, but what the digital thing shows, to go with what it read. I had told myself that I wasn't going to do another HPT, but today on the 12th day aftet FET I couldn't help it and I did a HPT and I can clearly see the second line. This time they transfer our last 4 frozen embies, I am 32 years old, the reason why my doctor did all four was because the last time I got pregnant, on my third attempt, they transfered 3 and only one embie stuck, but was lucky that that embie split and I was preggo with Identical twin girls, sadly I lost my babies on my 6th month of the pregnancy.  I hope to God that if God did decide to give us another child that he will let us take care of it for the rest of our lives.  So, please do not be sad, you did that test to early.  Do not give up hope, you might be pregnant and is just to soon to tell.  Good luck to you and please let us know your results.

After reading about all your experiences, I think I may wait it out till day 12 before proceeding with HPT. It is only day 8 today and am counting every single day. I am back at work now and it has helped me get my mind off the waiting period.

I was not given any progesterone oil injectables but was given vagina gel application instead. It is pretty cool, comes in a single disposable tube similar to a tampon and once inserted, there is a bubble that you squeeze to squirt out the gel. Perhaps, you guys could request that as an option if they have it available at the clinic. Good luck to all of you with your pregnancy test! I am keeping all fingers and toes crossed for all of us.

HI All, my name is Daisy and I am new to this site.  I had 4 IVF cycles and no children.  My first and second IVF failed (8 years ago), I got so frustrated that I waited 8 years to try again.  My third IVF transfer 4 and got pregnant with twins (last May'08), but unfortunatly I lost the pregancy at 14 weeks.  This one is my fourth IVF and I am currently waiting for my results.  My trasfer was on Nov 4th (3 were transfer).  The transfer was done on day 5 and the embryos were excellent, but so were my prior transfers.  I am 39 and scared.  Nobody in my family knows about my IVF tries (only my husband of course) because I don't want nobody feeling sorry for me.  I enjoy reading your postings and I hope you guys can add me to your postings and share your 2ww with me.

I am feeling lots of cramps (on and off) for the past 3 days.  I usually do not get cramps when I am getting my period.  I just get my period and then I get cramps.  I am also getting a headache and I feel bloaded.   My beta will be this friday but I can't wait.  I am soooo anxious!!!
