Estradiol or E2 Levels

Have just had IVF, 14 days post IVF beta HCG is fine.  E2 is low.  Anyone have any information.

I had low estrogen (now 13 1/2 weeks pg) before I went on clomid, and that was basically why the dr thought I wasn't getting AF.  My liningwasn't building up.  Also, the dr thought I didn't have enough fat which helps store and circulate (? I think) hormones.  My progesterone was pretty low too.  I don't think your dr's would have done an IVF though if your lining wasn't primed to receive it.  I don't know though, as I have never had one done.  Best wishes to you though!!!  I hope this helped- what is your E2 levels?  Mine the first time I tested was around 50 I think...then after I stopped running for a few months and tried to gain some fat (which I actually thougt was unneccesary since I wasn't under weight) it was up to around 70-75.  That's where it was before I started the clomid, and i got pg on the first cycle.

I had IVF and I was on estrogen shots prior to and for 9 weeks after.  Maybe you need a supplement.

Beta HCG was high at 13 days post IVF but E2 was 45 and progesterone 95. Am on shots progesterone oil and lots of estrogen pills.  Next lab Monday.  From LMP I am over 4 weeks.  ANyone have any info?

Update:  HCG is up as is E2 and P4.  Am 6 weeks.  Doing well.  Thanks to everyone who responded.

Hi, I am new to this sight and was just put on estradiol to thicken my lining.  I did and ultrasound and found that my lining was thin 5mm. I take the pills vaginally.  My question is how long do I have to take them?  Right now we are waiting to get a positive OPK then we are going to do an IUI.  Does being on estradiol work?  Any success stories?  I need a bit of hope!  Thanks.

You really want a minimal 8 for implantation to be considered successful.  many fertility MD's will not progress with a protocol w/o an 8.  You may take 8-10 daily, some po (by mouth) and some vag.  It really works, I am on 10 a day and am at 6 weeks gestation on the 22nd.  Had an 8 and they did IVF.  Good Luck.
