Excellent Swaddle Blanket

Just thought I'd pass on my experience with "the miracle blanket". It's been a god sent and my  DD has slept through the night since she was 5 weeks old. My DS did not use this blanket when he was a baby b/c I did not know about it 3 yrs ago. But it really is a miracle. When used correctly, it can give such comfort to babies. My baby is very big and busts out of any other blanket on the market. Not this one ... she's in there and isn't coming out! Sleeps like a champ b/c of this blanket I'm convinced.
I wish they'd sell it at Babies r us ... but only can seem to find it online.

There is a really cute book with one after another step-by-step directions on how to swaddle a baby, too, and it doubtless is available at Amazon -- would make a cute baby shower gift along with a blanket.  It's called "Baby-Gami," by Andrea Sarvady.  The photos in it of cute babies in their swaddles are worth the price of admission.

I saw that book and I thought the swaddle with the paper bag was so funny!

they do have a swaddle blanket at Babies r Us that works well. It has velcro on the flaps and saved my sanity w/dd..

Yes, seen and tried the other swaddle blankets ... she busted out of them. she's a strong baby. The miracle blanket was the only one that really worked and kept her contained.
My MIL makes fun of me that I swaddler my DD ... she says it's like a straight jacket!! But she wouldn't be a MIL if she didn't throw a little criticism my way. As long as my babe is giving me 12 hrs at night, I could care less about what she has to say :-)
Funny how the older generation thinks us "new moms" make a big fuss over nothing. I'm always hearing from them "how did I ever raised 4 kids w.o any of the stuff you mom's have today".

Ohhh myy gosh, my MIL says the same thing about our swaddle blanket!!  That's sooo funny!!  She and her mother are both off the boat Italians, and she calls it a straight jacket, and her mom calls it jail.  Lol.  They think it's mean, but I alwaysss have to convince them that he likes it and he feels secure in it.  Haha.  I don't have the miracle blanket, but I have the "snug and tug" that I got at a baby expo.  It's awesome and can be used for up to 25 lbs!  :)
