Extremely light spotting...still take a test or that counts as a period?

Hi everyone, just searching for answers on the net and found you all!   Period started June 1, unprotected sex all month.  Pink spotting on toilet paper one wipe (Sorry TMI) with cramping on 27th of June.  Brown spotting with cramps 29th of June one wipe (convinced it was full blown girly time but then it only happened once).    I thought the first one might have been implantation bleeding, but then it happened two days later so I'm assuming it was not. 30 day cycle was going to test on July 1st, but does this count as already starting, if so which one is day one for next months charting?

well, I was in the same position as whether to test or not.  I would have missed an entire month of my pregnancy if I hadnt have tested even though I had light spotting.  I would count the very first day of the spotting as the first day for your charting so at least you will be a bit early and wont have passed your fertile days.  Also I had been pretty irregular and would get brown spotting before my period.  After a u/s the baby measured as of the first day of the first spot not the first day of a real period.  (IF that makes sense).
