Fetus Measuring Small

At 8 weeks, went for an u/s.  Fetus measured 6 weeks 4 days and no heartbeat.  Hcg on Tuesday was 66,000 (Prog 20) then on Friday, Hcg was 72,000 (Prog was 15).  Is the falling progesterone and a small measuring fetus a sign on pending miscarriage?  They put me on Progesterone cream.  I have another u/s on Tuesday.  I've already had 2 other miscarriages.  I'm not too hopeful.

First off i want to say sorry for your 2 losses. Also you always want to try and stay hopeful even though it can sometimes be very hard. I wen through 2 miscarriages also and got pregnant only 2 weeks after my last one. Maybe the reason you are only measuring 6 weeks is because you got your dates mixed up and if that is true then it would be hard to get a heartbeat that early on...i have seen where it is hard to get at 8 weeks unless it is vaginal u/s. Your HCG numbers are still increasing and your progesterone is still above danger level. Keep in my mind that I as well as alot of women on here believe that progesterone suppl have saved their pregnancy, of course it don't save them all. I belive it helped save this one ....i am now almost 21 weeks and am having a girl. I wish you all the best and please try to stay positive and pray. Every experience is different and i hope you hold on to this baby but if its not meant to be this time its because god has other plans for you. it could be that you were less along than they thought....you can't always see a heart beat that early. progesterone levels that are low will cause a m/c but your hCG looks good and now that you are on the cream i would give it some time to see what is going on. i too have had many m/c at various stages of PG....i am so sorry that you have had 2 losses and now this scare is here. if the doc had thought you were definately having a m/c he never would have put you on the cream. so hang in there a little longer and see what happens this week....you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Question. Im  21 weeks when i went for my ultrasound they say the baby is measuring at 15 weeks does this just mean my baby is smaller? it is my third child and was rather upset when they tried to tell me i wasn't as far as was thought and the nurse said it was impossible for they baby to measure smaller i was rather thrown off by that
