Finally....WOOHOOO!

by jusrobin, Jun 29, 2006 12:00AM
Hello All,

First I wanted to say thank you to all of you that has helped me out these past couple of months.  Today I finally confirmed via Blood test that I am in fact PREGGO
5 weeks and 4 days! WOOO HOOO! I thought it would never happen. But now I'm concerned..I don't have many symptoms except for some discharge from by BB's (isn't it to early for that?)  and extreme fatigue....Those of you who've read my post earlier will know that I've been tired for about 2 weeks now! Should I have more symptoms than this. I've also been very crampy and frequent urination, but I can't say for sure that there's a difference with that cause I peeeed (sorry so graphic) :) alot before,  No nausea, none of the other good things that are suppose to happen. I have a 8 year old daughter and with her I had severe nausea and everything else that I could have..I've had 2 mc's and I've had the swollen boobs nausea and everything else with those too and now nothing. This is bothering a me a great deal. I've been waiting for a long time to conceive and now that the missions accomplished...where's my dang symptoms? I know that all pregnancies are different but are they suppose to be this different?  Any advice is good advice! Help if you can and if not thanks for taking time out to read my post. Please forgive spelling and grammar errors..I too searched the archives and a little further down on this page...and nothing helped. If I've made someone frustrated with my questions please forgive me in advance I just need to know! Thanks!

CONGRATS!!!  Enjoy it!  I don't know much about symptoms but I do know that when I was five and a half weeks (before my m/c) the only symptoms I had were kind of sore boobs and I had to pee all the time.

Congratulations. Don't second-guess things. Everything I've read says that every pregnancy is different and every pregnant woman is different, and that you can't guage the health of a pregnancy on the number of symptoms you have. (unless you have symptoms that all suddenly go away very early on). And it sounds like you've got plenty of symptoms, from what you said.
As for me, I had symptoms from 3-5 dpo, sore bbs, mild fatigue, mild queasiness on and off, a lot of peeing. As soon as I hit the beginning of this week (week 5, 5 days then) everything got a bit stronger, and now I'm perpetually tired. And the symptoms vary day to day. Even with them, I have trouble believing I'm pregnant.

so happy to hear your news!! wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!!
after reading the end of your first post i couldn't help but laughing to myself. tensions have been so high lateley here that everyone's nervous that their question is going to offend someone. well i'm here to say don't worry, ask away. if it's something you're worried or nervous about then it's worth asking - that's what we're here for. like everyone else said i think symptoms can differ between pregnancies and try not to get too nervous about it - i hope for the sake of your nerves that you're feeling nautious very soon :)

Of course, I was completely not implying that you are m/c!!!  I read my post and thought maybe you took it that way.  What I meant to say is, everyone is different and some people just don't have a lot of symptoms :)

by jusrobin, Jun 29, 2006 12:00AM
Thanks to you all and low I understood what you meant, but thanks for clarifying. Thanks again to everyone...and I do feel a lot better. Thank you so much! and dust to all TTC and good luck...I'll keep you all in my prayers!

Morning sickness didn't show up for me until exactly 6 weeks. Before that I only had the mild crampiness and lots of peeing. My breasts also didn't start to be sore until later too. I'm 23 weeks now. You've definitely got time for the "fun" symptoms to show up. Good luck and congratulations.

Congrats!!!

With my first I never had any real symptoms until around 30 weeks.  Crazy huh.

With my 2nd, I was sick all the time.

Everyone is different, every pregnancy is different.

Have a good 9 months.

CONGRATULATIONS!! =)

I am 4wks 5dys and I don't really have any symptoms either, Just bbs are a little sore, I am really tired and my sense of smell is going crazy! In my last pregnancy I didn't get any nausea until about 6.5 weeks.

by jusrobin, Jun 29, 2006 12:00AM
Thanks again to everyone and congrats to all who've finally made along with me!

by jusrobin, Jun 29, 2006 12:00AM
meant to type "made it" Sorry!

by JDLAWSON, Jun 29, 2006 12:00AM
With both of my pg's I had no nauseau or morning sickness--both times were pretty uneventful pregnancies.  Second time I didn't even know I was pg--until someone said I had a glow about me.  Surprise-Surprise.
Have a great nine months

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!  I havent had any morning sickness (10 weeks) I did experience some minor queasiness throughout the day starting around 7 to 8 1/2 weeks, like you, I was extremely tired and urinated FREQUENTLY!! but other that that I have only had soreness.  I had extreme morning sickness with my son 20 yrs ago, so maybe it depends on age?  I dont know, but count your blessing dear that you arent so sick!!!  again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

by nadt24, Jun 29, 2006 12:00AM
