I don't really know where to put this but here goes...I found out my baby's heart stopped beating on 8/13 after having an episode of bright red spotting on 8/11. We figure my baby died on 8/11 at 10.4 weeks. I spotted on and off until the 17th when I ended up in the hospital with a major hemorrhage and finally passed my baby and all other tissue. I then continued to bleed and spot until 9/1. So I don't know when to count as the actual miscarriage date but I guess that doesn't matter. So on 9/12 only 3w5d after hemorrhage date I woke to a large clot and figure AF was early. No big but it only lasted about 8 hours then went to spotting. Then on the 9/15 I started to bleed again and have been bleeding ever since. It is now a full 6 days of bleeding at a fairly decent pace and now I am passing a lot of clots. I have not been cramping or anything like that which is not normal for me and a normal cycle. Also my normal cycles never last more than 3 days. If you count since I first started to bleed I am at 9 days. Is this normal for the first cycle after a miscarriage? Also should I be concerned because my hemoglobin was so low upon leaving the hospital (at level of 9)? I am still on iron. I just don't know what to think. We would like to try again but I need to know things are okay.
